Onita has challenged Tenryu to a current blast death match as part of Tenryu's road to retirement. This old man is indestructible.

Kento? Don't you mean KENTONRYU?!
Kentonryu is only fully achievable once Tenryu retires and they do the fusion dance.

I might be reading too much into things. But on today's Korakuren show Aoki pinned Shiozaki to get a shot at the World tag belts. Promotion to heavy imminent or just using one of their more over guys for a "fresh" defense?

He's already KENTONRYU!

Aoki wrestles like a heavyweight anyway, so...

Some new and then the results from the Hashimoto memorial.

W-1 starts up their own "G1".

Mutoh Grand Prix said:
Keiji Mutoh held a press conference at the W-1 office to announce the “WRESTLE-1 GRAND PRIX 2015”.

The “WRESTLE-1 GRAND PRIX 2015” will be a single elimination tournament that will take place over the course of 4 shows throughout the month of August. The entire W-1 roster will be involved in the tournament from the established to the up and comers. This includes the newly crowned W-1 Champion KAI, who in all honestly garnered a poor reaction for ultimately reclaiming his revenge of Hideki Suzuki. Due to this KAI has personally stated that he will win this tournament to prove that he is the true champion.

Mutoh announced that 19 wrestlers affiliated under W-1 will be competing, minus Seiki Yoshioka who will be unable to compete at that time, and the two members under Tokyo Gurentai. The tournament will begin on August 2nd in Kasukabe with 2 shows, day and night, that will see the first and second rounds taking place, the quarter-finals will be on August 8th at the Shinjuku FACE, and then the semi-finals and final match on August 30th at the Korakuen Hall.

Mutoh then drew the names by random as the tournament placement was decided upon then and there.
