Upcoming AJPW title matches:
AJPW Triple Crown Championship: Akebono vs Shuji Ishikawa (Union), Akebono vs Zeus (freelancer) (Bono vs Zeus is not official yet but the challenge has been laid down).
AJPW World Tag Team Titles: Go Shiozaki & Kento Miyahara vs Joe Doering & Atsuhi Aoki
AJPW Junior Title: Kotaro Suzuki vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru
Goara TV Title: Sushi vs Billyken Kid.

More AJPW video fun!

Doering is from a different era. He'd have done well in 80's-90's All Japan. He's such a contrast as the sweaty redneck among all those smaller Asians.

Also Nomura got rekt.

I'd take Doering over Karl, Doc, Archer and DBSJ, and I love those four guys. Doering does old school so well.

Joe is fun to watch unless the match goes too long (in singles that is). The Evolution vs Xceed tag title match will be a fun one

Naoya Nomura, All Japan rookie has seemingly been given his moniker, if not by the promotion then at least by the fans and the promotion acknowledged it on their twitter.

He is now the "Rising Dragon" apparently.

Stellar match, loved it! Everything they did here felt just raw and real. It was a grueling war.

Joe Doering out indefinitely with an ACL injury. Fuck. He was one of All Japan's highlights. Time for Akiyama to go hunting for a big, bruiser gaijin

According to Tokyo Sport, Keiji Mutoh is playing with the idea of holding a fan vote on if Kai should get to keep the Wrestle-1 title after the negative reaction to him winning the belt.

Jesus Christ the poor guy, leaving All Japan did not work out well for him.

New wrestler for AJPW in coming:
CLiubCgWwAAYbId.jpg

Meet Coconut Sable. He's the mascot of a Japanese company called Nisshin Cisco, and he will begin training with All Japan starting now. This is without a shadow of a doubt some form of sponsorship/corporate deal, where All Japan gets paid by Nisshin and they get advertising on AJPW shows.

At worst this guy will be a lower card job/comedy guy, if he ends up being good they can always drop the cookie gimmick and give the guy some more legit presentation.

Watch his try outs here: http://www.coconut-sable50.com/coco-natsusaburo/

Japanese wrestling, everyone!

"We're getting paid and we don't give a shit".
Akiyama's smile literally says "You should see the piles of money we are getting for this."
