So the PS5 pro is just a PS5 with AI upscaling and digital-only (meaning they can take it away from you whenever they want)? Trash

well its got a much better GPU as well, about the equivalent of 5700XT. which is great....2 gens ago

overall yes its an upgrade and if u have a ps5 and can upgrade its prob maybe worth the price with trade in value? Outside of that yeah its an insane price tag lol.

There’s a PlayStation sale on steam right now so I picked up Last of Us Part 1 and Spider-Man Remastered. I looked it up and it said it’s the lowest price they have been on Steam so far(40% off).

God of War and Horizon are both pretty cheap as well.

God of War crashed on me a lot but I think that's a Steam Deck specific issue running out of vram. When it was actually running it ran pretty damn nicely. I tried Spider-Man before on my gaming laptop that I purchased(I returned because it got too loud/hot) and it played very well also.

gow is the one exception because of the mem leak issue, its just more of a big deal on steam deck because theres lil options to fix it. on pc u can chenge some setting around and it pretty much never happens as long as you stay under a certain amount iirc

Yeah, it was still completely playable. the game autosaves pretty often so any time the game froze up I just rebooted the deck and the game started up almost exactly where I was. I would say it crashed on me less than 10 times the entirety of the story mode.

@Chris @Hidden Blaze how are you guys comparing the new TEW to PWS? You think its better the same or if you have PWS you really dont need to get it? Just curious? How the mods too?

I've never played PWS

But from what I can tell it has more potential and something are def better already, but I think I'd still prefer the new TEW or even 2020 over it. But it's promising how hands on their team is and just being on steam in general is a big plus
