New Nintendo Direct was this morning and a lot of cool stuff came out of it.

here's my DammitC highlights that interested me

-Metroid Prime 4 looks awesome.
-Resident Evil 9 actually coming to the system is a surprise for me.
-RE7 and 8 also coming to the system in a native game instead of those jank ass cloud streaming versions they had. This makes me assume RE2 and 3 will be out eventually as well with RE4 remake too.
-Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 coming to switch 2. $69.99 for the bundle or $39.99 for each separate. I feel like this is a fair price but people of course are saying it's too high.
-Final Fantasy 7 Remake got a release date of January 22 and it's 39.99. If you preorder you get the original ff7 for free.
-DK Bananza DLC out today for 19.99 Looks good but I'll wait until I finish the game.
-A jank ass Virtual Boy that you can buy to play the games on your switch 2. they basically said every game that was made(like 14 lol) are coming to the system. no price on what the headset will cost but there's gonna be a cardboard version as well.

So this looks kinda like Duck Fortnite with all the building and shit.

Do you shoot the humans or other ducks? Cause my first thought from the thumbnail was that it was Duck Hunt revenge. But I didn't get that from the video.

It is basically the same as Lego Fortnite - which I differentiate because I know Lego more than regular Fortnite - where you gather supplies, build bases and battle enemies which I thonk can be either ducks or humans. You can play PVP or PVE, so that may determine if the opponents are humans or ducks, but idk. One of my friends sent me the game just a bit ago, I'm planning to give it a try since I enjoyed Lego Fortnite and this seems like a fun variation of it.

remember the good old days from the old school video games in the 80s and 90s during the regular nintendo super nintendo and sega genesis eras

back when we had cheat codes and sometimes no saved games

I somehow knew this was gonna happen. They were always showing off who they signed on roster wise and never any actual gameplay.

That games not coming out this year, lol. Ultra Pro Wrestling has a better chance of coming out before this one does.

I didn't see an Ask a Question thread so I will take my chance and ask here. I enjoy video games but at my age I really can't handle the new, complex games of today. If I still had my old NES I would be playing that. I have been considering buying one of those 1000 built in game controllers you see on Amazon and Ebay but since I really don't know anything about them, I always hesitate.

Does anyone own and use any of these game players and does anyone have a recommendation as to a good one to buy. I love old NES, Atari 2600, Coleco Vision, Intelevision etc etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't buy any of those, they're all ripoffs with knockoff games and about 90% of the "1000 games" are just clones of the first ten games over and over with minor changes, if that.
Honestly, you'd be better off trying to acquire the old game consoles. It might not be the best option price wise as old game consoles and games can run a good bit, but it's far superior than being stuff with a cheap paperweight.
Alternatively, you could get a mid-to-low-end gaming laptop and lookup some easy YouTube tutorials about how to setup emulators on it so you can play any old game you want for basically free after purchasing a laptop.

I bought one of those "however many consoles in 1" things off Amazon and it was actually legit. Could go up to Dreamcast I think.
