Been looking through some old TMNT adventures comics (Archie) I still have recently. It's funny to see all these seeds they planted for future story lines in early issues that never got returned to.

By the way.. if any of you guys like Quentin Tarantino.. Django Unchained in particular, the first issue of the comic sequel was released this past week.

It was pretty cool so far, very well written obviously, very good art.

It's called Django/Zorro

Finally read Morning Glories volume one and should finish volume two tonight. Interesting plot to say the least. Some dramatic / cliffhanger moments that come across a bit soap opera-ish at times it seems like, but the writing is good overall, and it has nice artwork. Admittedly though, the storyline just drew me in and makes me want to keep reading to see what happens.

(Somewhat comic related note: Ordered the Catwoman roller derby shirt from TeeFury today, woo! The world needs more Catwoman shirts.)

More comic book characters and less comic book related, but oh well. Did you guys see this?

Think superheroes are best on a comic's page or a 3D silver screen? You might want to reconsider. The French photographer Sacha Goldberger has reimagined our most beloved superheroes and fantastic characters in the guise of Renaissance figures to hilarious results.

The artist gives a rather aristocratic air to cosplay, asking “What if Superman was born in the sixteenth century?" “What if the Hulk was a Duke?" “How might Van Eyck have portrayed Snow White?" on his website.

The resulting series, Super Flemish was shown last week in School Gallery's Paris Photo booth.

Snagged a few Adam Warlock comics as well as some Inhumans ones at Half Price books, got 7 total for $4.00 which was cool.. One I know is worth $6.50 atm so that's not bad.

OK, so as far as Punk goes, I called it from the last Challengers' update email I got when they teased a big appearance, and I said it'd be Punk signing the Thor Annual. Now this is released today. About me finding a way to make it to Chicago February 28.

Not necessarily related to actual comic book discussion, so I apologize in advance. But... to keep from starting a separate short-lived thread:

Comic-related awesome nerdtastic stuff I need (OK, really really want):

And, of course, this set:

And more closely comic related:

That concludes GN's 2014 dream list / wishlist of nerdom.
