When I saw later on how much my dad actually made normally I was shocked we were able to afford all the shit we did. I guess we never really went on vacations tho so we didn't have those expenses

Yeah. I mean the main thing I wish was different about my upbringing is I wish I wasn't just eating so much frozen and processed shit.

My Dad was a hell of a cook and my Mom got better so food was usually good

See once my mom married my dad and quit working we always had home cooked stuff everyday, I was so spoiled in that regard
