Nah at my trailer house when I was young was just on my grandpa's land. No neighors to speak of

He made so much money just on the land when he sold it. The farm was pretty worthless I think tho but man it was a lot of land lmao

I had a fun friend from a trailer park growin' up. His place was trashed though. They didn't sound poor though, he always got new video games, I think his Dad just didn't care

I feel like my family wasn't all that poor either. We were probably middle classish but my parents definitely didn't manage it correctly.

When I was young we were pretty poor but with support I think. Like my mom was single and working as a cashier at a grocery store and that was our only finances but like if she ever fucked up both her parents would have been able to help. She just manged fine

I mean they bought and still own that land and house I grew up in. But they also bought it in the 90s when shit was much more affordable too so maybe that doesn't mean anything

But we were dirt poor to manage for a few years

Yeah, we had a nice house but that was mostly because my Dad would drink until like 1am and be ready for work at 4am. I copied that lifestyle

But once she married my dad when I was like 5, he made enough and she was great at fucking managing the money that she somehow got us mostly upper middle class on a car salesman's pay lmao

After my parents divorced I think I got significantly poorer because my mom never had a great job and my dad left a good job for what should've been a better job, but it ended up not lasting and he just said fuck it and cashed out his retirement and shit and been living off it since
