I can for most shows, but considering the storytelling of the show is told in flashback style narrated by future Ted through a pretty straightforward lie based on what we know of the future, it taints the entire imo. And they also just really do Barney dirty. Also, what you said about Ted and Robin being annoying.

It's still better written from show to show than most sitcoms before it's time. Then again most sitcoms before HIMYM didn't have many branchin' storylines. It was a new plot every episode, rinse and repeat

I can see that. Especially in season. 2. She was pretty unlike able for a minute there.

It bugs me too because they actually found a pretty likeable actress to play the titular character to do what they wind up doing. The show’s pretty old at this point, but doing my best not post spoilers.

But I guess it is kinda fun to try to have a conversation without spoilers. What I was going to say is the craziest thing is that spent 22 episodes of the last season focusing on this one thing and then completely undid it the next episodes... that's some bullshit

That final season is the worst thing about that series finale. If the finale happened at the end of season 8, it would still suck, but wouldn’t be as much of a bitch slap after spending the entire ninth season on a wedding that um pays off how it does one episode later.

Really can't make sense of why they would dedicate that amount of time to the wedding of two unspecified parties, and only two episodes on what followed which was easily the most important thing, which actually should have been expanded on
