Unless your belief is that technician can be applied to workers of wildly varying styles. Are Rey Mysterio and Vader both great technicians? Perhaps.

The question is if I wanted to comment on how skilled Vader was in the ring, in terms of athleticism, technique, striking, selling, etc. what would be the appropriate term to use?

I'd rather just say he's a great worker and 95% of fans would understand that I was commenting on his in ring ability, not his ability to play the crowd
