I was going into Once Upon A Time in America expecting not to like it as much as his others but I think it's probably his most artistically beautiful. Definitely not his magnum opus tho. OUATITW is that for me.

I think the two biggest things that put OUATIA down further is that a lot of content was cut for time (the movie was originally six hours instead of 4), and second is the scene where I understand why a majority of viewers turn to movie off halfway through because how do you even continue from that?

loved Unforgiven. My mom and dad took me to see it at the movies when I was a kid.

You know what’s an interesting western is Purgatory it was a TBS made for TV movie about a town where dead outlaws go to atone for their sins and if they stay the path they get into heaven. There’s more interesting stuff to the movie but I enjoy it. It’s got some stars in it like Randy Quaid and Eric Roberts and it’s made for tv quality but worth the watch.
