Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only, and Octopussy are my three favorite Moore movies tbh.

Glad I'm not the only guy who digs that one. Barron's laugh on the train...good shit

I'd replace octopussy with man with the golden gun for my top 3

Baron Samedi is my favorite Bond character out of them all. I wish wish wish he was a lingering villain in all of Moore's movies.

LALD doesn't work for me like it used to, but the boat chase is sick and I love Baron Samedi as well as the girl that plays Rosie Carver. Smoking hot. Oh and the teaser sequence with the agents being assassinated was a great way to kick things off.

Meanwhile, I find A View to A Kill gets better every time I watch it, once I get past Moore looking (and actually being) old enough to be Tonya Roberts grandfather

Oh man a view to kill is not one I'd plan on rewatching lol I felt like so much potential was wasted there

Honestly I tend to view the Moore movies as fun little romps but I don't take them very seriously outside of For Your Eyes Only, which seems like the only real attempt at Moore playing a serious Bond.

It's really just a remake of Goldfinger at the end of the day, just with a more maniacal bad guy. Walken is good, but the writing kind of lets him down and then that scene where he just mercilessly kills all the workers feels totally out of place

OHMSS is still in my opinion the best Bond movie ever and it just keeps getting better with age.

He's pretty serious in The Spy Who Loved Me as well. Those are the only two where we get the really cold Moore Bond, when he drops Szandor off the roof and when he kicks Loque's car off the cliff.

I'd lean towards From Russia with Love over OHMSS, ever so slightly, but they're pretty interchangeable for me.
