Sure I can, Johnson was heavily responsible for Civil Rights, the expansion of Public Television, Medicare *and* Medicaid, and tried to fight Poverty through legislation. Vietnam's handling was fucking awful, but as a domestic president, Lyndon B. Johnson deserves a fucking medal for what he managed to do and how he basically set the baseline for this nation's future.

The only reason he didn't seek re-election was specifically because of his handling of Vietnam, which he openly admitted was a horrible mistake.

I dunno, I always hear people shit on Johnson specifically for Vietnam but they don't really look at any of the good he did. It's not so cut and dry, and I feel you always have to take the good and the bad with Johnson. He also wasn't a racist like many people seem to think he was.
