Honestly I think the original Resident Evil's two soundtracks aren't necessarily bad.

The regular soundtrack is obviously superior in a lot of ways but the Dualshock version isn't abhorrently horrible. It just has some egregiously bad tracks.

Love RE music. The front hall theme of the RPD station in RE2 gives me so much nostalgia dude. Waste time in there because I like listening to it. :lol

Yeah the Dualshock has some great tracks like the First Floor Mansion and Completed Picture Puzzle, but then there's some fucking stinkers like Mansion Basement, Big Spider, and Ceiling Trap

I always liked that track at the start when Wesker vanishes. It's a very short track.

But yeah, as an overall package, the original soundtrack is much better and more conducive to the mood.

I still use D-Pad even though I could play the DualShock versions. I got that version of RE2 but I just prefer playing like this with tank controls.
