And I had a talk with someone who also has the same Poli Sci background on me and something he discussed in a class before was there is a bit of a different mentality between left and right. The left fight for their voice to be heard, whether they are progressive, environmentalist, or center-left. The right typically more want to win hence why we have seen right wing parties in Canada unify like Alberta or Federally between the PCs and the CA to increase their odds. Though yes, the PPC has caused a small but noticeable split in the right.

No. The Green are Environmentalist, but have a genuine mix of left and right ideologies. Like economically more right with small gov't and low taxes, but I have genuinely met literal tree nazis who flew under a Green Party banner before.
