yeah pretty much. the liberal party is leaning that way more and more tho (liek the cons are now) and i personally hate it. an idea should be voted on upon the merit of its content, not which side of the aisle it came fromPrincess Rosé said:And I had a talk with someone who also has the same Poli Sci background on me and something he discussed in a class before was there is a bit of a different mentality between left and right. The left fight for their voice to be heard, whether they are progressive, environmentalist, or center-left. The right typically more want to win hence why we have seen right wing parties in Canada unify like Alberta or Federally between the PCs and the CA to increase their odds. Though yes, the PPC has caused a small but noticeable split in the right.
Fuck them though, I hope they die out soon. Personally I'll vote for anyone who I think represents the best for canada, doesn't matter to me. I'd like to see us move away from us style politics and back to caring about what matters. I really hate when someone says someone "isnCanadian Dragon said:for now. i think its scary they doubled their voter base over 2 years. they are going to be a big problem, mostly for the PCs tho
No. The Green are Environmentalist, but have a genuine mix of left and right ideologies. Like economically more right with small gov't and low taxes, but I have genuinely met literal tree nazis who flew under a Green Party banner before.Canadian Dragon said:ndp is further left. and the greens are batshit to the left lol
Then stop electing fucking idiotsChris said:Way too many Canadians on this site ffs only America politics matter
we need to go back to talking about shit that matters and stop it withthe no u, he did this, politics. and especially move away from tweaponizing words all the time and acting liek the smallest shit is tyranny. and i say this on both sides. its ridiculous and childishJobber Doink said:Fuck them though, I hope they die out soon. They have that mix, though I think they are also a party more likely to get along with another party on a policy.Canadian Dragon said:yeah pretty much. the liberal party is leaning that way more and more tho (liek the cons are now) and i personally hate it. an idea should be voted on upon the merit of its content, not which side of the aisle it came from
Exactly, Trudeau was wrong with the emergency act sure, but present a better fucking idea instead of yelling about it, or work to resolve the conflict as well, not just stick your thumb up your ass then call trudeau a tyrantCanadian Dragon said:we need to go back to talking about shit that matters and stop it withthe no u, he did this, politics. and especially move away from tweaponizing words all the time and acting liek the smallest shit is tyranny. and i say this on both sides. its ridiculous and childish
