My sister's friend's dad had untreated high blood pressure and had a stroke at 55

Haha well the problem is Im overweight so its not hereditary which is why im hopeful of getting rid of it. I've also had a massive weight yo-yo over the last few years (losing 150 lbs to gaining back 80ish) which im sure hasnt helped. Going strong since start of jan tho! started lifting and running again recently too so im feeling pretty good

That's grim, i hear its called the silent killer because there's literally no symptoms at all. crazy to know you've got a really bad condition and you dont have a clue, and feel completely fine

Heavy man. My mentality would be 10x worse if I knew I was just stuck with it and couldnt do anything to help. Sounds like he's going strong though still which is good!

Nah it's one of those things that's easily fixable. As long as you take the medicine, you're literally fine
