It's sort of a spin on this thing I did with Dezmond Xavier in a season, where his first promo being he was doing a "Tree house" thing then he stops, and started talking about how he was "foced" to be "silly and goofy for the fans. How he was forced to act all dumb. He turned into this thug like stoner, he would smoke a blunt on the way to the ring, offer his opponents a hit of it. Had Black Snow doing commentary for all his matches. He basically became a dickhead thug stoner.....that's not exactly something that at first could be a face he someone who can change later on maybe.

Funny is how everyone wanted Cena to turn heel, but he basically became heel for many fans, because he didn't turn

Austin didn't change his character a whole lot but I remember him being a major dick to JR in 97 before they became on screen friends and it was so jarring in hindsight lol then in 2001 they did they same thing to solidify that he was heel again

I think you can do any face gimmick as a heel tbh, you'd just have to make it annoying and ironic. Def some cases where some characters don't work as faces tho IMO
