I think you can do any face gimmick as a heel tbh, you'd just have to make it annoying and ironic. Def some cases where some characters don't work as faces tho IMO

New Day is a perfect example of a face gimmick turned to its extreme

Which is my point. They're gimmick was being faces, but obnoxious and extremely annoying

It's why even in TEW, some gimmicks work for both, but they are a few that you'd find either face or heel.

I will say yes MOST of the time, you don't have to really change much, if anything...but they are a few that you'd have to change.
