In 2021 I'd say most of the successful babyfaces seem to be guys that were good at heels but just ended up with beef against faces so focused their attention over there. Results in a lot of grey areas and a million "is so and so face or heel" comments tho

By 1997 though, his character never changed, but fans also understood that he's supposed to be the lone-wolf babyface because he's a tough as nails son of a bitch and won't back down from a fight if he thinks he can win.
