You could personal canon Post Russo as a different Era, but Kreski still booked most of the top guys the same and kept the TV-14 angles in place and continued to push attitude.

Me as fan still loved 2000-2002 as mush as I loved 1999. Late 2002 is when I saw the product drastically shift how it presented itself.

Matches actually gettin' a chance to develop changes a lot of things... Well we got the SmackDown 6 a bit after that but yeah the writin' was already more mundande

Matches don't mean too much to me. An Era is defied to me how the stories are presented. But, you could definitely look at 1997-1999 As Attitude Prime and 2000-2002 Attitude Lite or what have you. Because the wrestling definitely shifted a bit for sure.

Longer matches leads to less time for nonsense that adjusts things quite a bit. I'm not gonna call 2000-2002 Attitude Lite that sounds demeanin' to Benoit and others

As long as Austin and Rock were near the top f the card, it's Attitude Era for me, though. 1997-2002. SummerSlam 2002 is when Rock passed the torch to Brock Lesnar and to me that's the day Attitude died.

I don't know what you tell you, KIF. But 2000 is definitely still Attitude Era. You can call it pre and post Russo AE or A and B AE, but they're both still AE.

There's nothing about the way the angles are presented that makes it a completely new era.

Most fans will argue about if 2001 is Attitude Era, but I don't know of anyone else that'll argue 2000 isn't.

Plus can you really call just 2 years an era? Because 2002 definitely starts a new era, so your 2000-2001 era would be the smallest era of all time.

What makes this great is we are all fans that look at things differently. I don't think you disrespect my thoughts or opinions. I wasn't the one that said that we had to defy all periods of time in wrestlin' as eras either. They just feel like two different products even the whole atmosphere and production value goes up durin' that time
