I enjoy pretty every genre of wrestling as long as it's well executed. There also isn't a genre of wrestling I like all of. I take everything on a case by case basis.
I would say that the product of AEW, NXT and old school ROH are what I prefer the most. I really appreciate athleticism and dedication to the in ring product. But I also need a helthy dose of sports entertainment and stories to make me invested.
I've barely ever watched IWA MS. Only a few CM Punk matches from there. Which I liked. Really I guess there is no baseline for what is well executed. It's more like what is executed to my liking. Which can be different depending on what I wanna see.
The Attitude Era is my favorite ever. And the matches, especially on TV, are pretty much shit looking back on them. They only last a few minutes at best and they're always overbooked or overshadowed by the angles. But it's gripping shit.
The PPV main events were still excellent though even though, again, they were overbooked and usually 90% brawling. But it was characters I cared about. The live audience ate it up. Commentary put it over. It was engrossing.
