See, they've run Syxx vs. Malenko, a lucha six man tag and Mysterio vs. Iaukea as the first three matches on this show. They could have spaced those out at least and kept the fans engaged throughout the show.

WCW crowds never really died tbf, they always ate up stuff I thought was shitty and that made those terrible main events more fun for sure

People shit on the mains all the time, but if Hogan was in them, they usually drew well and got great crowd reactions. Easy E didn't pay him a boat load of money for no reason.

Depends, Chris. Most of the time I was invested in the main events if the story was compelling. Not Piper in the mains though. Not even at 13.

The last Hogan main event that was actually good in WCW imo may have been that strap match against Vader even tho the ending was terrible
