Also Uncensored '95 is one of the worst PPVs ever so I might think that match is better just bc it wasn't as bad as the rest of that show

So Regal comes out, pulls Mysterio's leg, causes him to hit his face on the apron and rolls him into the ring where Iaukea makes the pin and the perfectly conscious ref doesn't see anything wrong with that?

I never thought a Hogan match was good if you're talking strictly match quality except maybe those early matches with Savage, Vader and later with Rocky. But if I cared about the story, I cared about the match. The storytelling is always what is most important to me.

I mean yeah as a kid for sure, but I've only seen it later so I can't really judge how I would have reacted watching live

Also he had some real good ones with Flair when he first debuted in WCW too

I mean the ref sees Mysterio go out to the apron, and next thing he knows Mysterio rolls into the ring beaten, and he just makes the count for the pin without even considering what might have happened to cause Mysterio to suddenly be KO'd?

But watching them now it's pure comedy

That sounds like standard referee protocol to me, EC

Have you seen the Hogan/Piper match from SuperBrawl '97 where Savage joins the nWo? That finish was so botched, I was dying when I reviewed it for my thread

Typically a ref has to see it with his own eyes.

The match itself could have been worse, wasn't horribly bad until the finish and the announcers explained it alright after but you could tell the live crowd were hella confused
