The great thing for me is I would watch the WCW shows for the wrestling and whatnot and then the Attitude Era shows for the stories.

I would like to see someone try to book Russo's WCW but... like, make it work

Not to say that he didn't do some good things as well

Problem with Russo in WCW is they made him the boss. Bischoff should have been his filter.

But just like... maybe no David Arquette, maybe Russo doesn't become an on-screen character, maybe no Tank Abbott or nWo 2000.

Russo is an awesome character, though. Maybe just not as much of him.

The thing Russo does better than almost anyone is he's a great character writer. In his first three months he gave everyone a character and got everyone in a story. Sometimes I wonder how it would have worked if Russo mainly worked on the wrestlers' characters, and there was someone else booking the actual shows and then Bischoff had to approve the script.
