Having IDs is fine, but I think people should also be automatically registered to vote at 18 and then just have to show proof of identification. Go by social security numbers and shit, they already got a record of all of us

I'm fine with pre-registration. NH even does same day registration. But no reason an ID can't be used to confirm identity at time of voting.

Even if I wanted these things, I have no faith in them actually happening either way though tbf. Presidents power is massively overrated in America

The article was also pushing for blue to take back the senate and argued with having both houses and POTUS they can do some or most of these things and theoretically they could. Especially if blue got a good chunk of the governors for a 2/3 state vote on the college.

I more so meant make sure the people getting them see legal residents.

But like here you gotta have two proofs of residents. But it has to be stuff like bills or someone. Not everyone gets bills.

Me either. Especially if more and more left leaning sites use this stuff as a reason to vote blue cuz I know lots of conservatives who might have voted Biden or voted blue on the ticket or just not voted at all that'll be motivated to vote now and vote red. Conservatives are motivated by fear typically so this kind of push is a sure fire backfire.

oh yeah we run into that problem sometimes selling people cars bc you need the same stuff Blaze

Their husband, parents, etc. name will be the one on the bills so they have no proof of residence
