I agree Blaze, I was scared too. but even with some of the voice acting changes, the show did not lose its essence

That literally is why I watch Anime, I love long term storytelling and coming of age shit (as do most I feel). I get you lose some of the branding if you have the characters age, but like do you ?

I seriously wonder why that's such a hard stance every adult animation long running program takes. I understand kids shows, that goes without saying

the only reason live action shows have characters grow up is because the actors actually do, if they could keep them the same age the entire show they would.
