because they are made for a certain demographic and it’s much easier to keep that demographic if they stay the same age as said demographic

Like last nights Always Sunny convo, the actors have changed their looks so much as they got older it’s not the same as the early years

Isnt that part of it all tho Butters? You age out of a show when you don't evolve it. You can only watch them get in the same scenarios over and over

The show I’ve been watching lately I’m on the last season and I can tell the writing has changed because they’ve ruined a lot of characters and one of the best relationships in the show

I think a show like South Park is incredibly reliant on the stories being told thru elementary aged kids. So I don't want to use that as an example. But surely if you had the Simpsons kids even move up a grade once every 5 seasons. I don't see how that would turn off an audience especially since adult animation I'd imagine is targeted to those 13-40
