I love Kevin Nash as a performer to death, but that man never should’ve been allowed to touch the book. I used to think people were stupid when they blame Kevin Nash for the downfall of WCW and if you’re talking about because the outsiders politic their way to the top. I still think they’re being stupid, but if you’re saying Kevin NAsh might’ve killed WCW because he got the book in 99 they’re probably right because if Terry Taylor had kept the book in 99 and Eric Bischoff wasn’t taking vacations in France.

WCW probably wouldn’t have fallen the way it did. WCW was on track to do equivalent business in 1999 up to March as they had done in 1998, but then Nash killed the Cruiserweight division, started turning everyone the fans cared about heel so him and Hogan could be the top babies, and started booking such great talents as Horace Hogan, Bobby Duncum, Van Hammer weekly on nitro instead of anyone that you care about and also intentionally doing nothing with Bret Hart. Bret might not have loved loved his 1998 but he was all over the show. In 1999 he was a nobody.
