I’ve seen coworkers reduced to tears because of a guest being rude to them. One time a lady threatened one of them so she had to stay off of drive up orders for awhile and needed an escort to her car

im so lucky i mostly worked back of the house in the food industry so rarely delt with customers

My boss told us that if we don't know how to respond to an email without being rude to let him respond so that's what I do now, it becomes his issue to resolve instead of mine
