Yeah that certainly seems possible. I don't think a high profile guy would risk filling a false police report under his own name, but who knows

I was def hoping they'd work this into an angle on screen, it's an easy way for anyone Jericho feuds with to shit on him for letting the belt get stolen for sure

Yep! And it fits Jericho's character who hasn't received his thanks, was clowning them backstage, so he pulled a Naito and threw it in the ocean
