I get that, man. I do have another thing about AEW that haven't seen people bringin' up about this day and age when it finally comes to havin' a weekly show.

That is the backstage environment. We already have ex-WWE superstars who have said they didn't like their roles in WWE or their amount of TV time they are gettin'. And I'm sure a large portion of AEW's roster that haven't been with WWE before were always weary about that as well. I am expectin' in just a few weeks after they start weekly TV that in this social media age we'll get the same thing from some AEW talent thinkin' they were gonna do more. How is AEW gonna deal with that? Who are the locker room leaders? The Youngbucks? Two guys who were known for not shakin' legends hands back in TNA because they didn't respect them. I know there are conflictin' reports about that but they could have probably learned a lot more there if they were more personable with them. You could say Cody could be the leader backstage but he's also got a corporate role in the company so he could be nowhere near this. Others like Jericho and their producers are gonna have to work around all of this to make everyone happy.

Am I the only one that sees this as a foreseeable problem? Do you think everyone is gonna be constantly happy just because they aren't bein' neglected by the WWE machine?

I think Deezy's brought that up before too but really 90% of those reports whether from WWE or other companies i always think are reported worse than they are so I always take them with a grain or salt anyway until I see something more concrete

Backstage issues are pretty much inevitable in wrestling but what's the point in worrying about it before anything even happens?

Besides that, they do have a solid group of respected vets that work as trainers, producers and road agents. And on top of that, a lot of the roster have been friends for years. That could pose Kliq-esque issues too but, again, that's just something we'll have to wait and see about.

I don't believe many dirt sheets but when someone who works for a company takes the time to complain about it on a social media platform. I do take it more seriously even if I see them as bein' petty half the time.

What's wrong with havin' thoughts about this beforehand? I am more sayin' I won't be surprised when it does occur and I would prefer it to be in people's minds before the fact rather than actin' like OMG afterwards. It'll be a lot more reasonable that way.

I mean yeah, it's bound to happen Not everyone can be happy at all times. I mean nothing is gonna be perfect.

That won't fuck with my enjoyment of it, which is what truly matters to me. But I'm pretty sure also if someone is as unhappy as people are reported to be in WWE, and want to be let go, etc....they might would. .WWE isn't doing that. They rather their talent not be happy, than go some place else. Now if all that's true, I don't know. I do know Luke Harper asked to be let go, as he even said so...and was denied and still isn't being used. Dude clearly ain't happy, but WWE rather pay him to sit at home, than let him go else where. If AEW does that same shit, trust me fans will give them hell for it.

AEW have announced the venues for two more shows. They'll be at the Petersen Events Center (capacity 12,500) in Pittsburgh, PA on October 23rd and they'll be at the Charleston Coliseum (capacity 13,500) in Charleston, WV on October 30.

Let's see how quickly these shows sell out when tickets go on sale August 23rd.

Moxley is out with an injury so PAC is in. I’m bummed because I was really looking forward to that match but PAC is a decent replacement imo and the match should be good.

Hopefully Mox has a speedy recovery.

Very unfortunate that Mox is now out of this match. Hopefully they're able to run some kind of angle with him at the show still. Nonetheless, PAC is a great replacement in his own right and one of the guys that people were most excited to see when AEW was first revealed. Him making his debut here is a pretty good consolation.

So what was that deal with PAC not being on their first show? I just remember seeing a lot of speculation when it first happened

He was the Dragon Gate Champion. He refused to lose any matches clean while he was their champion, basically because he doesn't think world champions should be doing jobs in other companies while they have the belt. They intended for him to lose to Page, I believe. So they pulled the audible to take him off the show. Now, he's lost the Dragon Gate Championship so he's good to go.

Killer Kowalski: The original mark

What am I talking about? The tradition of not losing in other promotions while you're world champ somewhere else goes back way before him.
