Yeah, it seems silly to keep up having all these strong belts when you don’t have a strong show and only do like four US tours, but he did the same thing with the never belts and they’ve become a permanent part of the roster so who knows.

One thing I think they should do though if they’re gonna make the continental title, something that has to be defended in an epic round robin tournament is there should be a specific pay-per-view where the continental champion gets to face the AEW world champion

Yeah the prize for winning next year shouldn't just be the belt, this year it was the other two belts too but going forward a title shot makes the most sense. Otherwise theres not much of an incentive to give up the belt for a tournament spot if you enter as champion if the prize is just getting that belt back

it's completely ok for regular folks to be confused btw, it wasn't made the clearest but I just get really annoyed at wrestling media particularly - they constantly play dumb like they don't watch the shows ands seem often to act ignorant and plain old stupid instead of using a tiny bit of logic and the eye test

Wrestling media get confused by it is baffling cause it is their literal job. Won't criticize regular people and honestly AEW should have explained it a little clearer but if it is your job to review weekly shows, you should know this.

I disagree here. I don't mind people bringing other belts in. I view it like when a NXT Champion appears on Raw or Smackdown. But ROH needs to have CHAMPIONS ON THEIR ACTUAL SHOW more.

On the last paragraph, yeah I don't mean they need to disappear forever. If you're a champion of either, you can certainly appear on Dynamite and you should have your belts if you do. But yeah Eddie should actually be on ROH too lol we'll see how it goes with Mark too bc he's been AEW exclusive since he returned, but he's on Collision a lot more than Eddie which ROH is taped with most of the time
