Middle paragraph isnt true, he'd defended the Strong and I think even the ROH separately since winning all three so it was kinda nothing like the AJPW one from the start.

If at least the ROH one is true, then a lot of people on Twitter are idiots because I’ve seen a lot of really big AEW accounts that made a big deal out of the ROH main event being not for the continental crown

Yeah, I just think they should’ve made this clearer from the beginning because the crown stuff wasn’t even listed on the website either. Like I even noticed from the very beginning, it only ever listed the continental championship and not the crown. But anyways glad that it’s all cleared up now.

ROH I'm less sure of but I think it was against Lethal or something bc Lethal said ROH was what he cared about and specified that's the title he wanted defended.

Continental was all 3 belts every time until the Okada match for sure tho

Yeah, that’s the only reason why I was wondering about the ROH one because it doesn’t surprise me that Gedo wouldn’t give a shit about the continental crown and would just have the strong belt defended. Lol but yeah that’s funny that cage match got that wrong.

I never wanted the titles to be unified either. the only acceptable fusion was the roh world absorbing the njpw strong title. thats the only thing that would have made a modicum of sense

Both the non AEW titles should not be on AEW TV anyway. The Strong would could be retired tho but that's an NJPW convo, they got double the belts Tony does
