suprisingly we got our managers copies today....I couldn't believe it. Usually its the following Friday at the earliest...we haven't even gotten our Wii Music yet (not that I'm complaining) lol

Awesome; bought my copy yesterday, I'm on Act 3 in Campaign. I'm going to go through the campaign on all four difficulties, so I'm starting Casual, then Normal, then Hardcore, and finally, Insane. I haven't tried out Horde or Multiplayer (w/bots because I don't have online) yet since I want to finish the campaign first. Overall, from what I've experienced, it's a terrific sequel and bigger in every sense of the word. Definitely tops the first one, IMO.

Luckily the first one has a pretty short campaign. Don't worry about online the servers are dead everybody has migrated to Gears 2.

Well i don't have a 360 so it all depends on if my step brother brings over gears 2 in the future. But im also playing bioshock at the moment so i don't know if ill beat Gears now.
Haven't played my 360 in months since I moved. Need to buy Madden, Saints Row and ofcourse Gears all in one purchase before this months over.

Act 3 is the best fucking experience i've had in a game this gen EVER next to the final battle in MGS4. The graphics own MGS4 and Uncharted. The presentation is amazing, the worm the fucking worm. All topped off with excellent gameplay.

Thus far, Gears 2 OWNS! I'm on Act 5, and it's been pretty intense so far. From the reviews I've read, Act 5 kinda tanks, but I'll judge for myself if that's the case. My favorite part in the game probably has to be the lake part, with the gigantic fish-like locust. That... was awesome! The worm was pretty cool too, I liked the flesh effects of the new engine. The narrative, although a little corny at parts, is like a powerful summer blockbuster. Dom's personal story w/Maria, his wife, I don't want to spoil... but lemme just say, damn...
