That age old problem with implementing visions into stories

Sounds intriguing though. Like I said, I'm reading the wiki on the side, so I know the Bran/Tree arc is way, way longer or stretched out way more. I'm not opposed to long, more boring sections though. With LOTR it's the same, I first saw the movies, then read the books and I still loved them, even though it was way more wandering around. I probably won't mind.

Also going back to this, it's funny you've also gotten addicted to the wiki bc that's what happened to me first before I just said fuck it and downloaded the books

What can I say... I'm a lore whore.

Especially when it's about such a deep world... and I love to find out about the small details that I have missed watching or playing something.

You could honestly start with this. It's "written" by a Maester during the reign of King Robert (I think, maybe Joffrey) and some things you literally know from events in the books that he's wrong so it makes you question it all but that's part of what's fun with history. He's a clear White Walker nonbeliever tho
