I think I just saw a Movie, not a Television Show. Between Endgame, a Funeral today, and this Game of Thrones Episode I might need to go on a vacation and get some more enjoyment in my life rather than stressing all the time. I don't know what can be a better death than fighting till your last breathe like we saw the people of the fighting for the people who they love and care about. Can we first talk about the Music in this Episode it's always great in Battle Scenes, but fuck me this whole Episode had my heart pounding. I was wondering when was Melisandre going to show up and it wasn't her Magic that was an asset, but rather I thought her words.
I love the moment she lights up The Dothraki Weapons and theirs that little hope for us that hey the Dothraki are going to kill out there...FUCK NO..they get merked vs the Wights. If theirs one minor negative I have is no White Walkers vs Our Soldiers. You had that shot of showing them in the Episode before and they just stand there at the end for Night King only to fight come on now. The Unsullied with Grey Worm should be thanked as well, their Roman/Spartan Battle stance held the line long enough to save alot of people and to get people inside the Winterfell Castle.
I knew when the Fire Barrier was going to be created, it was actually spoiled in the Opening Graphic go back and look it was great to see that even that little hope to win.. Night King was ready for that. The moment where Wights are sacrificing themselves to break the Fire Barrier didn't we have a similar thing during the Two Towers film where the death loading up on mounds to get inside the Castle? Brienne, Jorah, Jamie, Sam, Hound, Beric, and Tormund I salute you. Before I get into that, Lyanna killing a Wight Giant FUCK YES..but so sad she died, but she went down on her Shield as did everyone who could hold a Weapon.
The Scene where Brienne and Jamie are protecting each other side to side was great, Jorah bringing me to Tears fighting till the end protecting Dany, Hound waking the fuck up and helping Arya with Beric and the Red Woman all great Scenes throughout the Episode.
My idea is that when the Red Woman showed up she knew with her powers, Arya was the one that would kill the Night King she foresaw maybe which is why she gave her the speech that made Arya leave. Trust is the word here.
Oh my God Theon...going out like a G. He knew he couldn't beat the Night King, but fuck he took his shot and failed. Bran's words to him, that his decisions brought him back home you can't feel that moment. I have a question though, why was Bran warging in the Ravens as Theon and the other Soldiers were protecting Bran? Bran maybe had The Ravens going to King's Landing to see what Cersei has to fight with maybe? I'm happy as fuck Jon wasn't the one who beat Night King it was little Arya that we grew up watching. The way her training came into play, and the Dagger used to kill Night King was the Dagger that was suppose to kill Bran..THANK YOU LITTLE FINGER!
Anyways amazing Episode and with the survived people, now it's time for another battle vs Cersei and that's is going to be insane as well.
