I dunno... if they'd have offered him a pretty good deal, he probably would have consider it. I do think it's understandable that FOX is pissed, if they actually had not even bothered going for him. It's not really a good business decision to say "Eh, he won't sign anyways, so let's not bother".

He left what, in 2014? So that's like a 5/6 year window they could have made a play for him before AEW became a thing if they really wanted him but obviously they didn't.

I agree with you though, regardless of FOX's opinion of them signing him as an analyst I do agree with you the chances of him returning to wrestle for WWE were still very low in my book

There are so many reports of FOX and USA Network being unhappy at WWE over every little thing that I find it difficult to believe any of it now. WWE, FOX and everyone else knows that CM Punk would never sign with WWE again. FOX signed the guy to use on WWE Backstage knowing that he didn't want to get back in to the WWE ring. It would have been a waste of effort by WWE to offer CM Punk anything.

A reminder that FOX is still owned by that fucking goon Rupert Murdoch who is always in a perpetual state of fucking anger and hatred over anything that isn't him. So I'm not surprised FOX is angry.

USA Network being mad is fucking hilarious though when RAW for better or worse is one of their top-drawing shows regardless of how bad the product has gotten.
