Doubt Punk even cares about their hall of fame tbh.
I think he’ll take the Legends deal that comes with it once he’s retired though

Maybe, we’ll see. I won’t ever say it won’t never happen. But part of me feels he would tell them fuck off with their “Hall of Fame.” But I could be wrong for sure.

Guys like Honky, Jarrett, Warrior let the shit slide. Eventually Hunter will get over his insecurities(assuming he’s in charge) and put Punk.

10-15 years from now, Punk will say yes.

I would like it, just for his speech alone. So hopefully it happens.

From the way WWE responded to Fox, it sounds like Punk did give them a number, but it was probably a no way they'll offer it number.

I heard on some Pod Cast (I believe it was Disco and Konnan), that WWE are shopping around Smackdown to other networks for when their contract ends.

I hope this happens.

Question though: Vince doesn't own the "NWA 1940s-1980s" rights and libraries and "properties" does he?

He owns specific video libraries of companies who were in the NWA back then like GCW and JCP.

This was a marriage that had a very, very messy divorce and no amount of mediation was going to see them back in bed with each other. The Backstage gig was a catch-up coffee where they both realised they were happier.

Who knows, maybe they'll cut the "if we're both single at 50" deal in terms of a legends deal or something, but nah, this was never happening.

IMO the only reason CM Punk came back is AEW is picking up steam, and he is excited by what they are doing.

CM Punk would never be excited about WWE is doing no matter what. And I don't think he'd want to help them reinvent themselves.

And with Vince there, Punk knows there is no way in hell shit will change.

Pretty much. I'm pretty sure punk came to fox, where a lot of his commentary still seemed salty. I never got the impression he was excited to be there personally (fox).
