Former WWE Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore has been hired as a trainer by World Wrestling Entertainment, and will work with developmental talent at the company’s new Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Dinsmore posted photos yesterday on his social media of his move leaving Kentucky, where he had worked for years with Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville.

PWInsider initially reported this in the Elite section, and asked for nobody to post it on message boards etc. But other sites are reporting it now too, so I figured i'd post this.

As for him going to be a trainer in NXT, congrats to him. It sure beats working in OVW every week.

Good hire, just a shame the dude's only known as Eugene (guess not so much because he was still over as fuck) because he was actually pretty good.

LMAO see the Spears post to find out why. I think this is the wrong role for him but glad he's back in some form.

Not gonna lie, would prefer him on TV over some of the garbage that gets airtime currently.

Eugene only can't ever be on TV because of his drug habits in the past. I will agree he can be entertaining but hey he screwed himself there.

In other Performace Center news:

F4W Online - As noted, WWE is looking to hire additional trainers for the Performance Center after the signing of Nick "Eugene" Disnmore. Apparently former WWE Tag Team Champion Rob Conway was offered a job but turned them down because he didn't want to relocate.

RVD only has a strike for weed and even then it was more so the arrest. Eugene has been suspended for drug violations and is on two strikes. He's even been to rehab. It's like Regal, he won't have any major role since he can't sell enough to offset his possibility liability with the 3 strike rule

I was going to say, wasn't he in rehab a few times for drugs? Either way it's good he's back in some form. He's a good worker; just got stuck with a shit gimmick. Though his performance as the "slow" Eugene is kind of like Tom Hanks in Forest Gump.

Pretty sure if you go to rehab and are out for a year, you lose your strike. If you never lost your strikes, Jeff Hardy would have been canned long before his last run in the WWE. Coming in now, Nick probably has a clean slate. Same for RVD. Don't think past strikes apply to them if they do the rehab and a certain amount of time has passed.

If this wasn't the case, then Orton would be on strike 2, and he's the "Face of the Company" so one more screw up and they're going to fire him?

Orton is on strike number 2 and WWE instituted their Wellness Policy in 05, long before Jeff Hardy made his return and had his biggest run.

Not disagreeing with you, just adding on. Hardy did also have his biggest run after he already got two strikes in his two years back.
