Agreed with the first paragraph, I literally have no reason to watch TNA anymore now that her and Morgan are done there. I'm pretty sure I said in the thread for this weeks Impact that I said she'll probably be leaving given the out of nowhere title switch. Sad really, her newest gimmick has been awesome.

Secondly, I'm not surprised she didn't resign because let's be real, she won't be hard up for money given her several years in the E and the supposed half a million a year deal with TNA.

Thirdly, I do agree that she would be an asset still in the WWE although I have my doubts as to whether or not they would Gail Kim her or use her properly since she was their creation. They are seriously lacking an actual vet that can work too, not the make believe vets the Bellas think they are. Her and AJ as much as I dislike her could have an outstanding feud given their similarities.

Didn't they create Kim too though? I am guessing she would have been around the indies for a while before that but certainly got her big break in WWE. Anyway its only her age which might work against James and going to WWE, but I agree with you I think she has a lot to offer them.

And how is that a good thing? Besides the fact that in 2013 Women's wrestling should be taken serious, also by not promoting Women's wrestling properly WWE are cutting off nearly half of their potential audience which is not smart business.

To answer your question about James I don't consider her to be mediocre but also you can't build a division around just one good wrestler. TNA succeeded with the knockouts from 2007-2010 because they had four or five great wrestlers and a great feud to boot, and WWE succeeded from 2004-07 because of having strength in depth.

And how did that work for them with the supposed women's demographic that you claim WWE is cutting themselves off from? More women watch WWE nowadays than they ever have but I don't think WWE should even try to work on gearing their show more towards them because they're target demo needs to stay with males 17-35. Yes, it's 2013 and yes I do enjoy good women's wrestling but it really is too much effort for not much in return if WWE were to put a lot of work into theirs.

well yeah Gail was originally a WWE creation but I'd say she become more known for her work in TNA when she came back to the WWE whereas with Mickie the majority and more well known work was in the WWE

Says you I remain unconvinced. They get a lot of teenage girls watching the product now because of Cena, but besides that I doubt as many females follow the product now as from 2001-2006. For me its just a moral thing, as the biggest wrestling company in the world WWE should be presenting Women's wrestling as equal to men. Even if it wasn't great for business it still wouldn't hurt business that much. Anyway that is a debate for another day and thread.

You're right, probably not as many follow it but not as many males do as well. If you were to get a ratio of male:female fans, I bet it would be a lot more even than it was from 2001-2006 and the women's division has nothing to do with either.

Yeah but if you want to be crude about it, Lita and Trish were hot, so why would them getting big pushes put men off? Some fans are just loyal to the product regardless anyway.

I never said it would put men off? I thought your argument was them bringing women in, not putting men off.

No its just I read your post as saying that more men follow the product now than then and that maybe the likes of Trish and Lita getting big pushes put them off, but maybe I just mis-understood. Never mind, back on topic!

Who thinks that James going back to WWE would be a good thing? And if so what feuds could you see for her there?

She won the WWE Women's title in her first match but dropped it within a month and was gone just over a year later. It was in TNA where she became a big star and one of the top female wrestlers. WWE didn't really use her that much initially and did the same thing when the hired her back. With Mickie she was a huge star in WWE during her first run so I would think that she would be used better than Kim was.

Since when did women become a giant demographic WWE garners? About as much as the IWC in terms of eyeballs viewing them on TV and in the audience. Look at the numbers for Total Divas and tell me that is a giant demographic to go for. Not to mention, women athletes don't generate shit for business in women, they don't watch them. WNBA? Doubt Ronda Rousey spiked interest in females towards UFC, that women audience was already there, much like Layla Ali did in boxing, it didn't spike interest in women. So Keith, WWE don't care about womens wrestling. Like I said perviously.

Then their fools, when you see the success of Trish and Lita and more recently the TNA KO's division its been proven than book correctly a women's division does work. I think its sad that we still have to talk in terms of gender in 2013, but then against that's down to mindless idiots.

Good God would you listen. It's not a sexist thing, Deezy and I both enjoy good women wrestling but it's just that good womens wrestling just doesn't draw too much more compared to the shit WWE has now so why should they focus time and money for not much of a profit? They are not hurting their womens demo with it because it's not one they're going to get anyway. Yes, we have to talk in terms of gender when it comes to sports because womens sports still aren't a fourth as popular as men's. What success did Trish/Lita and the KOs division have? It worked in terms of us enjoying it, but find me a ratings breakdown and see how much that helped in terms of ratings (bet bra and panties matches got higher than wrestling matches)

- Mickie James was reportedly offered $60,000 a year to stay with TNA but she turned it down. Mickie is currently charging $1,800 per indy appearance. Concert fees for Mickie and her band range from $3,750 to $5,000.

Shit she can get a desk job or sell some porn pics with her new body. That's shameful

She popped a tit, 3 times her first wwe run and also another impact her second run. They didnt tell her get cheap silicone to go with no personality
