The part timers bring media attention and bring back old fans, more people will pay to see Rock or Brock vs anyone than would pay to see Punk v Bryan. If WWE is smart while they have these big names around and push the up and comers it'll get them established.

Sorry but thats an awful card.

We've seen Cena-Orton a thousand times before. Punk v Ryback has happened numerous times in just the last couple of months. Thw WHC match is just throwing all the Mexicans together. Bryan-Cesaro would be good. And Sheamus has squashed Ziggler enough over the last year, we dont need to see Sheamus beat him in 10 seconds at Mania.

May not agree with you on the part-timers issue but have to go along with you here. Only Bryan/Cesaro and Show/Kane VS. The Sheld stood out from that lineup. Really don't want to see Cara involved in this show.

I'm glad noone here writes for WWE, that company would sink faster than old men boners.

Any PPV last year go past the buyrates of any card that had Rock or Lesnar? No.

Did Ryback and Punk maineventing HIAC do better? No.....Did Cena/Ryback/Punk do better business? No.

WM is the biggest card of the year, everybody had a whole year to make themselves into big money draws, and they didn't.

No matter the storylines they were put in or not. This is such a joke, beyond a joke

I am not against part time wrestlers, actually I love them all. Rock, HHH, Taker, Brock Lesnar I love all of them but what I hate is that guys like Rock can wrestle twice in a year then they get WWE Championship. Hmmm, isn't that an injustice to guys like Daniel Bryan, Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Christian, Wade Barrett even John Cena and CM Punk. Because even if these guys get a huge push, they deserve it as they wrestle hundreds of times in a year. In live events, house show, Raw, SmackDown and all the other WWE TV programmes. Tell me will The Rock be on all these Raws? Will he wrestle in weekly shows? No! This is what I'm against. Not their salaries. Rock and Brock is the most famous guys in this roster probably. A former UFC Champion and worldwide known movie star. I'm not against that they are in roster. I just don't want them as champs.

Pretty sure people have grown tired of Taker taking all year off just to comeback for mania me being one of them. The thing that has bothered me on this forum lately and that is bothering me in this thread that there is a lot more "what the casuals will pay for, casuals this casuals that" than what YOU want to see. Boxing in a group a fans assuming every single one wants the same thing is silly. Not every IWC member loves Punk and not every casual wants to see Cena it is just assumed.

If you rather see Rock as champ in mania over Punk cause you are a Rock fan and not a Punk fan that's fine. But I see far too many Rock is a draw and no casuals want to see Punk or any other modern superstar. I don't have an issue with part timers if it's done right which so far it has been with Rock and his feud with Punk because him feuding with Punk and verbally putting him over does a lot for Punk. But I don't want to see these part timer vs part timer matches that do nothing long term.

I'm pretty sure people aren't tired of taker since he has only now just begun he return for the streak thing in recent years. He had pretty much worked full time before the last two manias in a regular role. The people will all be more invested in the streak than anything else either out of respect.

When I said people I didn't mean everyone. A million people could care about his streak but there could be about 300,000 who don't.

A very narrow minded point of view. Would you not say that Daniel Bryan was a big success story in 2012? Ziggler also made good progress. Just because they are not as big as the Rock (which very few people ever have been) does not mean they should be disreguarded. Chances of them being there in five years time are far greater than the great one sticking around that long. Why are you so against long term booking? Also what makes you think it isn't down to WWE's booking of them rather than the talent not getting themselves over?

Rock would not have gotten over if Vince didn't let him, and make sure he got over.

Saying people can't get over is the stupidest thing ever. They don't chose if they get over or not, the boss does. Stone Cold would have been absolutly nothing if Vince didn't push his ass through the roof to be the biggest star in history. Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Rock, Lesnar, none of them would be the draw they are today if they didn't have the company backing them.

I wouldn't go quite that far, for me it is a 50-50 thing in terms of a talent getting over, but it is true the wrestler needs the right kind of push from management.

If that was right then Bobby Lashley would have been a multiple time world champ. Saying it's solely on creative and the company to get guys over is laughably wrong. No matter how much you get behind a a guy, if they aren't good enough and can't connect with the crowd, they won't get over.

Bobby Lashley wasn't pushed to be THE top star. He was pushed to be a rival of Cena. No one was going to beat Cena in that time frame. Cena was the company at that time, and Lashley was simply used as feeder for Cena.

False, Lashley was made feeder for Cena after his push didn't pan out and they saw he wasn't going to be a huge star.

I don't mind part-timers but what I don't like is sometimes they are on Raw for weeks at a time and don't end up in matches. It's like the GM has no control over them even though they are on that program. They should get in predicaments just like everyone else if they are there and get into scuffles and forced to compete.

As for Rock being Champion this time of year, I won't have a problem with it unless he refuses to wrestle on every Raw until Wrestlemania. I don't care if you are part-time, if you are the Champion you should be a fighting one.

I'd argue against this. Lashley was also written off shortly after because he was working hurt and would need surgery. Cena went over but Kennedy was used to write him off for a return feud before Kristal/Hayes happened. Lashley was over and still selling. He came up quick, maybe too quick, but they were earning viewers and coin from him, and he was over as the highest rated ecw champ not named RVD or show
