QFT. I was feeling pretty accomplished before these two assholes showed up.I'm surprised we had a page of solid discussion with this forum.
In deths eyes, you're only allowed to be gay if you rock out with your amps at 11.
I edited my post probably right when you replied. I said the same thing you just told me essentially. How about we just stop prosecuting 18 year olds for things they do with their peers who attend the same school that they do? Male, female gay straight or bi who gives a fuck. There is nothing wrong with a HS Senior dating a high school sophomore.
Did you even read my post? Nobody mentioned equal rights and nobody is asking for special favors. I was simply making a point that different kinds of people act under different kinds of pressures and in consideration of those pressures perhaps we might have a little extra sympathy for them. Anyway, orientation isn't the issue here. I only thought it would be fascinating to note.Wait a second? Doesn't the gay community want to be treated the same as everyone else? It seems unfair that they push for equal rights, but we can't hold them to the same standards? Nah, give them their rights, and treat them the same as everyone else. No special favors.

I always find it funny to think I could get married but couldn't legally drink at my own stag night/bachelor party.
Is it not the case In the UK that if a male and a female < 16 are banging then the male's the one who'll get punished? Some of these laws are so completely illogical lmao.
Honestly, the government or any law enforcement punishing lust because they are younger than the age THEY think it is right is moronic. It's got to the point where educating them about performing said actions safely is the key, and punishing it is simply redundant. We had an awesome teacher in my high school about this, and once she knew I was sexually active and under age, she gave me and a bunch of my mates this card that you take into "connections" (some place that helps young guys) where you get as many free condoms as you want.
That is way better than hiding away and doing it unsafely. Not sure how I got into a sex discussion, but yeah, punishing anyone because of a small age-gap is really pathetic. Is there any other uproar about this? If enough media attention was on this, it might actually force the government to change their approach.
