Final Fantasy will always be relevant, I will revive this thread during my summer of FFs; playing 7 -> X and hoping to beat them by the end of summer

Yeah, I wasn't saying the thread wasn't still relevant.. I was saying why move it to the correct section after 2 years lol

I have a PS1 emulator and all the RPG games... I play all of them at least once every few months... I have still yet to find a console with a better lineup of RPGs. The original NES and the PS2 are the closest.

PS2 is really close, Kingdom Hearts is a main reason why
I'm sure @Solidus or @seabs would have no problem moving this to the gaming section even though it is old :dawg:

Anyone who played FFX, would you have preferred a prequel involving Braska/Jecht/Auron rather than the sequel with Yuna/Rikku/Paine? Personally I would've although the ending when 100%'d to FFX-2 was pretty solid.

That would have been sweet. Auron was my favourite character from ffx. I guess they figured we already knew the story of those three and decided another love story was the better choice ity2:

True that, makes sense.
Jecht as a playable character would've been dope would've been like a Wakka/Tidus mixture. Yeah Auron has been one of my favorite characters of the games past FF9.

Should've made an alternate version of FF7 with Zack as the main character and Cloud in his place.
Zack was a badass mofo.

To the right of him on the bottom row in that picutre are my favorite villains; Rufus/Reno/Rude.
But where is Red XIII!

Yeah, it made so sense to take away one of his signature things... not sure what they were thinking.
