On one hand it'd keep us occupied and not have the pressure of the clock to research who to pick in later rounds. On the other hand thats 14 teams doing picks with 12 rounds so depending on how long we'd give people to make their picks there would be a chance the draft wouldn't even be done before the season if the draft went slow and free agency hasn't happened yet. So idk it'd be pretty different doing something like that manually but it is a creative idea considering how much time we have between now and then.

That's a good point. Maybe it would work with a normal offseason, but no reason to start a long draft now when free agency is going to shake up so many teams during the draft.

Alright. I liked the idea because it would give me more than 60 seconds between picks, and would be a good discussion platform. I was also confident that we could finish before December 25th...but meh. Lots of work, would give me an unfair advantage if people decided to send in lists so they didn't miss their picks, etc.

Just got out of a mock draft on ESPN. Some dude was talking shit on me for taking Carlos Boozer. I said Carlos Boozer was a 20/10, then we argued for 5 minutes about the difference between 20 and 17.5. Fucking ESPN.

What round did you take Boozer in?

And I thought about that having to send in draft rankings would give away strats tho me personally I'd be there for my picks but yeah.

I've been using a certain site to do my rankings this year, not going to reveal it to you smurfs until after the draft for obvious reasons...but according to this site Boozer has late 3rd round (#42) value in our set-up.

I took him in the 4th round in the ESPN draft. He's ranked like 80 on ESPN.

That sounds about right so don't get what dude's point was to get on your ass about it.

Because ESPN is standard 9-cat with different player positions.

Boozer is 8th round value in 9-cat.

aka mock drafts are a waste of time

I got a very strong feeling the answer is no but I'm gonna take a chance since you got 3 picks in a row.

Yo PHX. How would you feel about switch my 23rd overall pick for your 16th overall pick?

Pretty much love having 3 straight picks however depends on what other picks you add for me to consider it.
