I thought from the wording that you were meant to think it was conducted by a Military member but they don't express that so who knows.

Nah I was saying they would not do anything because it happened over seas with someone not from the country. I should have been more specific. I am assuming this is the case but like you said, they do not say so I guess you have to be open to both respects of the situation.

I mean, WWE has done some pretty shitty things but this seems a bit too much to cover for a military member. Again we don't know any details but maybe WWE advised her not to go public about it? Rather than just not do anything. I'm not sure, if any more details come out its probably best to look at it again but its a very sensitive subject.

It is no secret that both the men and women have been treated like crap in this company. I just hope that if it was indeed done by a US citizen, they can at least press charges but that is a long shot without the WWE backing her. Their "reputation" is soooo important to them...

There is bad treatment and then there is this though. If it was done by a US Citizen and charges were pressed at the time I doubt she'd have any issues with the court but even with WWE's backing nearly 10 years later its basically impossible due to lack of evidence sadly.

Still though, like I said, had it happened here she would have been protected by the Rape Shield Law. I am not sure that would protect her being that it did not happen on US soil. I don't know the ruling on that.

But yes, I agree... This is horrible on WWE's behalf.

I'm not familiar with that law tbh, I'm not very educated on US Government. Its overall a pretty shitty situation.

Don't feel bad, most people here don't even know about it. People need to be educated on this stuff so they know their rights.

I will not be surprised if more information comes out now that she has made it public though. I know a lot of people will be supporting her.

Well saying she looks like an emo meth-head is my personal opinion.... Not a track record lol

I don't know her personally so I have to go with the reports all over every wrestling site that said she was an escort just like the way everybody judges WWE's bad track record.... Online reports & media. Not sure if you read that part of my posts or not.......
Ashley has not worked as a escort. That was part a mix up because there was a actual escort with the same name, and part Sunny (of all people) calling her one during a drunk rant.

Oh really?
....I never heard or read that part anywhere ....right on. Still not convinced she's telling the truth, I guess only time will tell on that one.

There could have been repercussions for her and just mentally. She would have had to have tried to process it mentally- it has a huge impact on somebody and it could take months or even years to come to terms with it and be able to talk about it.
Keep in mind that sexual assault isn't taken very seriously in the courts of America either.

It's not that it's not taken "seriously" in courts here, rather it's a fact that it's often not reported or sometimes hard to prove when people finally tell their story.

Honestly stuff like this is hard to prove any where. It does happen very often and needs to be stopped, but it wouldn't surprise if WWE did say this as it creates bad publicity

If she is lying, that is really telling of her character. This is not something to joke about or lie about.

And I will admit it, we can't say 100% that she is not lying about it because none of us know her personally nor were there.
UNLESS she did go see the doctor right after it happened and has documentation of this. It would be silly to bring it up 10 year later if it was a lie.
I think she may have seen the doctor right after as well. Or I may have misread that.

Either way, women do/have lied about this before and I have 0 respect for them but you can't discount this as being a lie right off the bat simply because other women have done it.
I'll tell you one thing though, this should not be a topic that is debated about over it being the truth or not but that is the kind of sick world we live in. It is not my place to judge though. Just a damn shame.

edit----------->

I googled a bit on her, as I was not watching wrestling from 2005-2008. She did Playboy/porn prior to WWE and was involved in a high-class escort service, selling her body for $25,000 prior to and in to her WWE career.

"According to the Rolling Stones peice, the FBI monitored e-mails between Massaro and "Bella Models." The e-mails are from 2004, regarding transportation arrangements. The monitored e-mails were used to help build towards a search warrant on the ring leader of the escort service, Michelle "Nici" Braun. The search warrant was finally executed during a raid of Braun's home in October 2007."

Based on her past and what she did while in the WWE, I can see why people would believe her to be a liar but just because she was a hooker, it doesn't mean she is immune to rape either. Then again people may argue that she put her self in position by offering her body in exchange for money.

My guess would be that someone may have seen her "services" online over there and maybe she was going to do them for the money but something went wrong OR the guy simply took it upon himself. This can be the reason why WWE wanted her to keep quiet. They didn't want people speculating that women they hire within the company are escorts or hookers. This can be another reason she also didn't say anything too... cause of her past with the FBI and being an escort, maybe she thought the courts wouldn't taker her seriously.

Just wanted to share that so maybe people can get a better understanding of the situation. Again, if it is true - Shame on WWE for not supporting her, if she is lying though, shame on her.

She's also someone who asked for her release to take care of her sick daughter mind you.

Also WWE wanted Debra to stay quiet about the whole domestic violence shit so them telling her to stay quiet is still believable.
