Only reason Henderson should be with the senior squad is to be the fucking waterboy.

£16 million? You gotta be shitting me.

If Henderson plays, I fear for Englands future.

Think we might have to force Alan Shearer out of retirement at this rate lol.

Don't know if anyone is saying Herdeinson is a terrible player, but because he was such a big money signing for Liverpool and really underperformed for them and is now in the England squad replacing one of our best players that is the reason for the doom and gloom.

IMO Milner has gone just as bad since reverting to a CM, just does nothing out of the norm.

Really boring player.

Terry is probably the weak link though, had a terrible season and looks slow and clumsy nowdays. Can see any team with pace raping us tbh.

I think we can stand a chance though, if we line up with something like (presuming no Rooney)...

Hart
Jones, Terry, Lescott, Cole
Parker, Gerrard
Young, Milner, Walcott
Carroll/Defoe

No Milner's a very good player he was perfectly fine in central midfeld when he played at Villa no reason why he can't do a job there for England. Do you like any players?

Only saw a bit of the second half but you can't write him off based on a friendly, besides do we have many better options right now?

No, I'm basing it on the 3 average seasons he's had since joining Man City, the Belguim game was just the most recent example.

Could name about 5/10 right wingers better than him off the top of my head, and the amount of CM's better than him is endless. He offers nothing to England at all, but then again half the players are in garbage form anyway, ie Sturridge, Terry, Henderson, etc etc.

Hard to believe the Euro's start on Friday.

None of the Friday fixtures look interesting, whereas Saturday, you've got Holland vs Denmark and Germany vs Portugal

I really think Milner brings something to the side, I rate him more than Barry. Putting him with Young and Walcott just behind the lone striker will work.

I predict we'll just get our asses through the groups before being knocked out in the quarters.

And yet you don't how strange lol. He has not been at City as long as three years and has been in and out of the team.
