He came off pretty fuckin heel to me. It's just that Vicky's heat>>>>>>Edge's heat so it kind of cancelled it out. I mean c'mon, had that been anyone else he said that shit to he would have come off as the biggest asshole in the world. It's not like he high fived fans on the way up the ramp and did a pose down..lol.

Punk starts a promo going, "Lemme tell you guys something" and then "I'm straight edge, and I'm better than all you people!" Heel turn right there. Then Edge goes face/tweener.

The only thing with that is [like someone else said] I really dont wanna see 8 year olds cheering for Edge.

I dont think there was anything Face about Edge on Raw. He was totally heel. And as ppl have said Vickie gets soooo much heat and they want her gone. That's why Edge got cheered. Nothing to do with him being face like.

Yep he did when he said he didnt need to continue with this marriage he got some cheers. I know it was because ppl hate vickie more. And like i said nothing about What edge did or say was remotely Face like. But he did get a few cheers when he said that.

I wouldn't mind seeing Edge as a face, but I think he's too good a heel for WWE to make the effort to turn him. While Smackdown! could definitely use an extra babyface, I doubt Edge will be the one to fill that hole

Well it seems like a heel turn is in the works for CM Punk and if that does happen then Edge will have to turn Face/Tweener to even things out on Smackdown..... it has been 5 years since Edge was a face and he was a very over face and was good as a face but he is definitely memorable for being the Rated R superstar heel and i prefer Edge as a heel but Edge as a face could be interesting.... but like some of you said, I wouldnt want the kids cheering for Edge just because he is a face now lol... Thats like Y2J turning face and everyone cheering him.... CRAZY

For the most part, faces get cheered and heels get booed. Despite going into that segment Monday night as a heel, he showed face-like traits by catering to the fans - saying things that most fans have been thinking for a while now about Vickie. However, if he continues "being the good guy," then the fans will obviously cheer for him.

I think Jeff Hardy is a screw up. Edge says it all the time, does that make Edge a face. He wasn't sucking up to the crowd, the thing, Vickie Guerrero is so hated anybody that insults her gets cheered.

Well did you not read my complete post? I was saying how cool it would be if Punk would go heel, which would include turning Edge face or tweener. Don't go nitpicking two statements from my post and saying you fail to see how that would turn Edge face.
