Considering the extremely limited roster WWECW has, they have done extremely well for themselves. Morrison/Nitro as the WWECW Champion is entertaining and much better than having someone like The Miz hold the Title.

Punk is as good as he'll ever be, but I don't like what the WWE have done with his moveset. They've basically taken a lot of KENTA's moves (including the GTS), and scrapped his old ones. It's getting to a point where the WWE should Punk his Pepsi Plunge move back. Who cares if it's a Pedigree? Imagine the Holy Shit chants going throughout the arena if he hit that on Morrison.

Dreamer is at the peak of his WWE career at the moment, and can still put on good matches despite his age now. His personality at the moment is a reminder of what he use to act like in the original ECW, and I liked that quality about him

Burke is going to be HUGE someday. No doubt about it. He's got everything needed to be big. Charisma? Check. Mic Skills? Check. In-Ring Abilities? Check. It doesn't matter if he's jobbed to Punk, those two have had awesome matches, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them in the future.

Morrison/Nitro is now getting what he deserves. After over a year of jobbing on RAW, he's finally got a serious run as a Champion. Sure he had some great matches with Hardy on RAW, and held the IC Title twice, but now his full potential is being realized. He's got the skills to put on great matches, and the greatest gimmick in the WWE at the moment. I don't like his finisher though. But then again, he's the kinda guy that doesn't really fit into any kind of category of wrestler...

Just some quick things.
1) Keeb Daddy, have you ever taken a knee to the head? If it doesn't knock you out it'll give you a weeklong headache. And I know this is wrestling and he's not getting hit that hard, but if he did it for real you'd see a lot of concussions.
2) Nancy, you really think morrison has the best gimmick? You know, when The Doors frontman talked like that he was sky high or tripping his balls off on acid. Whe the ECW champ talks like that he sound like he's Blue.

I have to agree with Montana, it has been getting better for months now.

I'm not sure how true this is, but I have heard that Punk doesn't want to do the Pepsi Plunge because it does a number on his knees and that he doesn't think he could do it on a regular basis.

I really wish Burke and Punk had been "drafted" to Raw, they would bring some much needed freshness to the brand...

yeah, ECW is slowly improving. But the only thing they need to improve is to add more guys to the roster, they probably have like 12 active wrestlers on the brand.

I don't care how good ECW gets but in my books it will always be the "C" show. I just can't see ECW being better then Smackdown or Raw. Anyway that is what i think and others might think differently .

As many people have said, i've pretty muched always liked ECW & it really ennoys me when the fukin Internet dumbass marks start going "Well... It's not like the old 1" & when people repetadly bashes it for not being "Extreme" enough...

The whole concept of the brand was to be a step up for guys from OVW, DSW & FCW to further advance their skills on a smaller show first & also a place where Mid-Card guys such as Burke, Morrison & Punk were getting the spotlight in the Main Event. Look so far, Lashley was sub par Higher Mid Carder lost on Smackdown who couldn't get a story other than his feud with Finlay..... Fast Forward 2007 & he's main eventing a PPV with the most over guy in the company & still managing to nearly outpop him. Yes maybe he got a Monster Push but the whole ECW Title gave him a lift aswell

The only thing at the moment that worries me is the size of the roster & the constant matches we get week in, week out... Don't get me wrong i love the matches nd all, it's just though after watching Stevie Vs Punk, Dreamer Vs Thorn, Thorn Vs Balls, Daddy V Vs Jobber, Miz Shit, Punk Vs Burke... It kinda get's a bit repetitive... (although the latter of those Punk Vs Burke i could watch forever because the two put on a great show together...)

What i'd like to see now is Burke get back on top & become a dominant Heel alongside Morrison, also i wouldn't mind if they redid The New Breed although with Striker going with Daddy V as an exellent Mouth Piece i reckon they could bring up a few guys from developmental.

The only thing that has really hurt ECW is the losing talent factors since the beggining such as Angle, Big Show, RVD, Test, Hardcore Holly, Lashley, Sabu, & Sandman... I really hope they pull up a few guys soon as The roster is dwindling down slowly although i do like the fact that there giving Stevie Richards a minor push, Give him a faction 2 lead allready! He's so underrated.

IMO ECW should just keep toddling along brining in the pretty decent ratings & before long the roster will be a bit revitilized with new guys from FCW & OVW making their way up to the active roster. The Booking is great & is very underpreciated by WWE IMO, as some 1 else said somwhere Dusty Booking Raw = Ratings...

Also high mention to Tazz & Styles because they manage to sell the product brilliantly even though if deep down inside they hate the fact that in their eyes it's tarnishing the name & presigsnous of the original ECW. Froma business standpoint they should know though that WWE doing what there doing with the brand is an excellent Business decision, maybe not Great 2 watch but it's a good idea. Who here thinks Velovity would bve brining in 1.5 ratings it they were a single brand? That's right it wouldn't because Why, the ECW name sells...

Okay, I saw the title of this thread...ecw getting better...and my jaw dropped. How the hell do you think it's good, seriously? That show blows adn always will. The only reason I watch it is for Morrison, Expose', Daddy V, and Matt Striker, everyone else could suck my nuts. If they brought back Marcus Cor Von, the show would be a hell of alot better. Yes, for those who are wondering, in my eyes Punk let me down, I don't know about you, but he isn't living up to the hype.

I'm actually enjoying the wrestling content on ECW, especially Stevie getting wins 2 weeks in a row. Me thinks tho they're just setting up Kevin Thorn to freak out and destroy Stevie.
