Joey Styles is in the ring, he welcomes us to the show. Before introducing his new “Colour Commentator” Shane Douglas, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! The entire Triple Threat comes out, including Lance Storm. Shane says, he says he will be the first to admit, in February, his ass fell a little bit behind his mouth. And he came back from an injury too fast, he shows the nasty scares from his recent surgery. He says he and Francine have been having a hell of a time, but that punk Taz keeps running his mouth and they’re sick of it. He says Taz can make a belt and pay out those bit pay checks that you earned in an organization that I put on the map
But that does not make you a world champion, what that makes you is a pretender. The real gold is around his waist. Shane then ruins the good promo by saying “I’M GONNA SHOOT FOR JUST A SECOND LIKE I PLAN ON DOING IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS” FUCK OFF! He says Taz did not injure his elbow, you know who did it? IT WAS BAM BAM! He says Taz just took advantage of him, and all that did was piss off the wrong people. He says he’s got some people behind him and would love to see him jump him now? Taz’s music his.

Back from the intro Shane, Styles and Francine are in the commentator's section; Joey says the camera were rolling for 30 minutes and just witnessed an epic battle, Shane says Bam Bam manhandled Taz the entire time. He says at HeatWave Bam Bam will do it again.
Balls Mahoney vs. Masato Tanaka
FUCK YEAH! This is Tanaka’s debut match for ECW. This was a ton of fun, great feeling out process to start. Both guys trying to out-wrestle the other before throwing that out the window and they begin with the heavy blows. Very back-and-forth, good spots, this is clearly lead by Tanaka as he’s getting his shit in. Balls is game, so he takes everything and dishes out recites. They brawl onto the floor and through the crowd for a bit, before bringing it back to ring, Balls hits a sweet back drop-diver, both men battle chair shots and Tanaka survives some nasty chair shots. He murders Balls with 3 chairs shots of his own, before hitting a torndoDDT ontop of some chairs for the win. **3/4 - ***
Joey Styles announces ECW’s return to the ECW arena, but tonight it will be Storm/Candido vs. Sabu/RVD, also The Dudleyz vs. Sandman/Dreamer and ??????
Joel Gertner is in the ring with the rest of the Dudley family & Jeff Jones, oh and they have the Beulah blow up sex doll too. Joel says they'll prove tonight that not only are they the best tag team in ECW, the most violent tag team in ECW, but also the most respectful tag team in ECW. Gertner says this is three weeks late, but this is what they feel they need to do. Sign Guy holds up an "R.I.P. BEULAH" sign. Joel says recently the wrestling world lost one of its most beloved personalities, and they would like to pay homage to the career of the most disgusting slop to ever grace an ECW ring, Beulah McGillislutty! They lay the doll on the mat and demand a 10 bell salute, but the timekeepers refuse. D-Von does it himself. AMAZING!
The Dudley Boyz (w/ Joel Gertner, Jeff Jones, Sign Guy Dudley & Beulah McGillislutty) vs. The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer & Atsushi Onita
Onita comes in after a few minute and is dressed like a monk, he hits the Dudleyz with 2x4 covered in barbed wire. Then hits the Sandman, Dreamer goes to confront him so Onita hits him and pretty much turns on them He then drinks Sandman’s beer because, he’s AMAZING! New Jack comes out and we almost get ONITA/JACK, but Jack Victory attacks Jack from behind, Onita then leaves, because ECW brought him here to do that two-minute appearance? Spike Dudley comes out to help; he does what he can until the numbers catch up to him. Big Dick murders him by throwing him through a table on the floor, Big Dick then kills Dreamer with a double chokeslam sit-down powerbomb onto a ladder. HOLY SHIT! Buh Buh buries Sandman head in that 2x4 barbed wire and slams the ladder on top of him, and Sandman is busted open bad. It’s pouring out of his head. Buh Buh then hits a senton onto a ladder that was on top of Dreamer, Bald Referee refuses to count because I don't know. This is clearly a match without rules, I don't know why this is the match an ECW referee chooses to take a moral stand in. Jeff Jones takes him out and makes the count anyways. Total Violent Mess.
ECW Tag Team Championships: Chris Candido & Lance Storm vs. Rob Van Dam & Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso)
I think this is joint in progress or is the final 7 minutes, because that is all that is shown. Anyway we start with RVD/Sabu hitting series of double teams, and the match kinda just breaks down. Constant action, everyone throwing moves out, but just like the mixed tag match they don’t throw out all the signature stuff. RVD dies off a doomsday device which was the highlight. All 4 brawl onto the floor and RVD hits some beautiful suicide dives, but Sabu has to get the last dive in with the no hands double jump placha dive onto Candido into the crowd. Back in the ring, Candido hits a ‘rana driving Sabu through and half broken table for two. All 4 seem to be getting along really well, which isn’t noted at all or isn’t told as part of the story smh. Well they were until Candido/Storm place RVD and Sabu on the table, Candido jumps before Storm is ready, and RVD moves, so Candido goes through the table! RVD then takes Lance out with a chair sidekick deal and they set up another table. Stereo Diving Legdrop through the table, RVD slowly goes for the cover but Sabu jumps over him for the pin. FUCK YEAH! Sabu getting some spotlight revenge. NEW CHAMPS! Really fun spotfest. **3/4

Backstage: Bill Alfonso is with RVD, he says they have all 3 belts. RVD cuts in and says he’s the reason they watch ECW, and he’s the hardest working man in the company, Fonzie cuts in to yell “SABU’S SUICIDAL” RVD says he will bring him the entertainment because that’s what he does, Fonzie yells HOMICIDAL, SUICIDAL, and GENOCIDAL. RVD says Fonzie has Sabu's dialogue down, and Fonzie shoves him. AHAHAHAHAHA. RVD says he can handle a stronger push and tells the promoters to listen up. When you think of RVD, think push. I’M THE FUCKIN SHOW!!!!!

He lets NYC get their “Philly Sucks Dick” chants off before introducing Shane Douglas, Shane says he loves that people from New York kick ass, but in this building he can smell a pussy named………TAZ! Well that’s all Taz needed as he comes out, but as they play a Taz video Bam Bam, Lance and Candido along with Taz are all in the ring. Lance then grabs the mic and says he would still be tag team champion if someone didn’t get their ass pinned last week, he then says maybe here you can just make up a belt of you want one, but back home in Calgary, you go out and earn it. He says that belt doesn't mean shit, so that means Taz ain’t championship material. FUCK YEAH! LANCE T. STORM SHOWING ATTITUDE! Taz says he’s got a message that he can send back to all the Canadians………………..SLAP!!! And we get a match.
Lance Storm vs. Taz
This goes about 2 or 3 minutes, because ECW are Blue, and I guess they gotta save room for a Credible match or another bullshit Shane promo UGH! But yeah for the short time this got, this ruled. Taz is vicious and violent, just throwing Lance around and storm bumps incredible for everything. Taz locking in the Tazmission after a brief Lance comeback for the win. After the match, the Triple Threat holds Bam Bam back.
Shane says to be a great color commentator, and I don’t do anything less than great, I will call it right down the middle. SO LETS SHOOT BROTHA, he says the real world title is with him. He says Bam Bam took his ego when he drove him through the ring.

HOLY SHIT! This took place before 1999
I can’t wait, so this is fuckin; great, it’s hard hitting and stiff, it’s a great first match/under the radar match. Tanaka hits a cool springboard clotheslineing to the apron, but Awesome outshines him with his leaping plancha over the top minutes later. They brawl on the floor, and Awesome casually murders him with chair shots. Back in Mike continues to nail Tanaka with chair shots, but that pisses him off who makes his comeback hitting some tremendous stiff elbows, he hits the tornado DDT but Mike kicks out at the very last mille-second. Mike hits the awesomebomb on the chair, but this time Tanaka kicks out a two. He then heads to the top and connects with a splash for two. They botch an AwesomeEdge?/The Razors Edge, as Mike just drops him, but he manages to hit it on the 2nd try. Mike then sets up a table on the floor, he goes for the Awesomebomb but Tanaka slips out and delivers more elbows, and he finally hits the roaring elbow for the win. After the match; Mike is pissed so he AWESOMEBOMBS Tanaka through the table. ***
Ulf Hermann (w/Lance Wright & The Equalizer) vs. Spike Dudley
Spike immediately kicks him in the dick and hits the Acid Drop to win, he then gives one to the Equalizer.
Francine gloats that she wasn’t the one that got 3D’d
Joel “There’s a monster in my pants, and he does a naughty dance” Gertner is in the ring, with the rest of the Dudley family, Jeff Jones, and Beulah McGillislutty. He says everyone thinks Dreamer and Sandman can outsmart them with mysteries and surprises, Buh Buh says we have a surprise partner too, it may be a week too late…………….TERRY FUNK’S music hits………… NOBODY COMES OUT AND BUBBA YELLS "PSYCHE! YOU FUCKING MARKS!" He asks if they really thought Terry Funk would leave a cushy gig in the WWF making everyone else look good to come back here BUBBAMVP 3-out-of –the-4 weeks GOD DAMN!

Typical Jack match, Big Dick doesn’t leave so its 3-2 right off the rip. Jack Victory again tries to jump Jack but he sees it coming and he murders him with a guitar shot finally. lol Jack Victory blatantly blades right in front of the camera and crowd. Shane spends all of this calling out Taz, and making a valid argument that Taz is the one who picked a fight with him. New Jack gets hit with the 3D and Tommy Dreamer and Spike Dudley come out, but it cuts to the back as Taz rushes to the commentary position, but Bam Bam Bigelow attacks him from behind. They keep fighting in the ring and the show just ends.

Let’s be honest, this isn't The Pavilion in Calgary, and this building doesn’t deserve his talents. FUCK YEAH! Lance coming out of his shell. He says this match will take place without him, Meanie grabs the mic and says he’s got one question for him, where your belts? Oh great, the fans now chant it. Lance then drops down and takes a seat on the floor. A solid showcase for Candido, I’m loving this slow build double turn with Lance becoming this piece of shit, and Candido not being his usual shit flashy terrible heel. Lance and Candido could have been an all-time great team if they stuck with it, SPOILERS! I just read the PPV card. So this gets about 4 or 5 minutes, Nova’s best showing ever, Meanie not so much. Candido actually does this all by himself, until Lance kills Meanie with his chair and Candido just takes the cover to win. After the match; Candido is mad at Lance and walks off. **

Joey Styles is in the ring and welcomes us to the show; He introduces Shane Douglas and Francine who come out to join him. Shane is back to “CUT THE FUCKIN’ MUSIC” line, he says my god is it hot, sticky and moist? But that’s enough about her down there. Styles dopes the mic, on purpose just to look up Francine’s skirt AMAZING! She drags him up just to give him a kiss on the cheek.
After the intro; TAZ makes his way down to the ring, he says four and a half years ago, ECW had to cancel a TV taping due to a big snow storm and a lot of the faces he sees here were part of the 90 people that show up to the new taping, and he was there too. He says the people there chanted ECW and while nobody gave a shit then, they basically said "Fuck WCW, Fuck WWF, I'm about ECW". In effect, they said "fuck the world". Later that year, Shane Douglas threw down the NWA Title and proclaimed a belt to be Extreme. In effect, he said "fuck the world". And he was proud then because he was on the team and in the revolution, but when Shane lost his belt, he jumped. But everybody forgot that Shane did that, so while he claims to be the Franchise and says he's not a real champion, and maybe that's something you can argue, BUT SHANE DOUGLAS ISN'T A FRANCHISE. A Franchise sticks it out, a Franchise wrestles when he doesn't want to, a Franchise wrestles in shitty buildings to help build the company, and he's been on every one of these shows, guys like him, Tommy, and The Sandman, they turned down offers and stayed loyal so they could grow with ECW, and they did, but Shane didn't. He says Shane was the foreman on this job, but he left the job site, and came back when the building was near completion and claimed he did it by himself. So now HE'S standing in the ring holding up a belt that he just invented, and says "FUCK THE WORLD". He says Shane got shot after shot until he got the World Title, and that's fine, but what about the miserable fucking workhorse? He makes Shane Douglas tap out in three minutes for the TV Title, and the next PPV, Shane's given a World Title shot because of it? RVD's done great, but he's the guy that made that TV belt, if you want a fight, just look for the guy in orange and black. He challenges Shane to a title vs. title match and says he'll make him fucking tap and that's it, and says he wants to defend this title.
“FTW” Championship: Taz vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
So this is cool for two minutes or so, Bam Bam is brutal on offense and Taz is great at showing fire. Sadly, Lance Storm and Chris Candido run out to save Bigelow for a DQ as Taz tries to put this one away. Candido and Storm hit a terrible RVD and Sabu's Rolling Thunder double team until………………RVD and Sabu come out for the save, FUCK YAH! Fonzie has to hold Sabu back from Taz, and Fonzie puts out his hand for a handshake. Taz walks past him and gets the FTW Title before holding it up, and RVD and Sabu then hold up their belts. Taz leaves, and Joey yells about the FTW Title now being recognized, and Shane is surprised Taz left without a fight.

Fuckin’ 5-minute clip job of RVD/Sabu vs. Candido/Strom II, Fuck ECW. Oh Lance smacks Candido in the injured ear, and walks out on him. FUCK YEAH! Lance. Candido gets beat with the Event Omega.

Fonzie is with RVD and Sabu, Fonzie seems to be on coke because he is speaking 69 words per second, RVD has to calm him down, he then does a GOAT Fonzie impression but says they need to be cool like RVD. He says he's heard rumors about who their opponents could be, but they know that they're leaving with his belts too. RVD says they call him "stiff" and RVD 4:20 means he just smoked your ass. RVD tells Sabu to finish the promo, so he just points up.
Joel Gertner says they had a Penthouse pet spayed, neutered, and fixed. He says The Dudley Boyz are merely products of their own environment, and Beulah was the one who ventured into Dudleyville. If she wants someone to blame, she should blame Tommy Dreamer. Buh Buh says Tommy's made some mistake, and they all make mistakes, but Tommy made the biggest one of all. He brought his girlfriend into a wrestling ring, aka Dudleyville, because that's wherever they happen to be. They'll beat up a 2-year-old boy or an 80-year-old grandmother, because that's their house, city, state, and world.
Tommy Dreamer says he thought getting rid of Raven would stop the pain. Jerry Lawler was different because everyone knew it was just him on behalf of ECW. He says his life's an open book, and people come to take out his friends and apparently all of his friends get hurt. Sandman gets sent to the hospital in front of his pregnant wife and he has to tell Lori that he got hurt because of him. And then just like everyone else he loves, Beulah gets hurt, but she gets hurt worst of all. They were supposed to be together forever, and he breaks down crying. He gets up and yells wedding vows in between headbutting lockers.

Taz says for 5 months, he keeps hearing that ring announcer "THE WINNER AND NEW WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION" Also for 5 months, I’ve been coming out here and I’ve been lying. “Beat me if you can, survive if I let you” Bam Bam CAN beat him, you beat me flat in the middle and it wasn’t, cause you are bigger, no. It’s because you were flat out better. This PPV isn’t about the FTW belt that half the people recognize and half the people don't. It's about a victory, and in Dayton, he's talking back his victory and his credo. Bam Bam beat him, and while he survived, he doesn't lose a lot. He says Bam Bam's now gotta be asking himself if he can do it again. He's not. He's not going to beat him again, because he can't let him. BEAT HIM IF YOU CAN, SURVIVE IF HE LETS YOU!
They replay the Storm/Candido trust promo, then Storm smacking Candido. Douglas then cuts in and says Storm stepped over the line. He says Candido carried him his back for all these months, and he hit him at his most vulnerable point. Shane says at Heatwave, Candido would put his ass under a magnifying glass and fry him.
Justin Credible & Mike Awesome (w/Jason & Chastity) vs. Jerry Lynn & Masato Tanaka
This is one of very few times, that I’m actually glad they are airing a Credible/Lynn match, no not for Lynn/Credible but for TANAKA/AWESOME, Well, AWESOMENESS! So yeah, Awesome/Tanaka start it ruled. Both men just beat the shit out of one another doing the same spots from their previous match and adding a few new things, one is Tanaka placing Awesome up against the ring post and getting a running start to hit him in the head with a steel chair. Lynn did a great job bumping for Awesome, before completely forgetting all of it and he and Credible do their HBK adjace moves. Credible does the best thing he’s done so far, when he cowards away when Tanaka gets tagged him. He really plays off wanting no part of this monster Tanaka. That also leads to more Tanaka/Awesome violence so thanks Justin. I just realized this is barely a tag match, it’s basically the feuds pairing off and them doing interacting while the other pairing just watch on and wait for their turn. Another real good Justin moment is when Awesome and Tanaka exchange brutal chair shots Credible wants the easy pin, but when he gets two he again backs off and runs. Really getting up this Tanaka/Credible angle, the match breaks down. Tanaka again gets put through a table over the top with the Awesome Bomb, Lynn reverses a Credible tombstone into one of his own for the win. ***

Justin Credible & Mike Awesome (w/Jason & Chastity) vs. Jerry Lynn & Masato Tanaka
This is one of very few times, that I’m actually glad they are airing a Credible/Lynn match, no not for Lynn/Credible but for TANAKA/AWESOME, Well, AWESOMENESS! So yeah, Awesome/Tanaka start it ruled. Both men just beat the shit out of one another doing the same spots from their previous match and adding a few new things, one is Tanaka placing Awesome up against the ring post and getting a running start to hit him in the head with a steel chair. Lynn did a great job bumping for Awesome, before completely forgetting all of it and he and Credible do their HBK adjace moves. Credible does the best thing he’s done so far, when he cowards away when Tanaka gets tagged him. He really plays off wanting no part of this monster Tanaka. That also leads to more Tanaka/Awesome violence so thanks Justin. I just realized this is barely a tag match, it’s basically the feuds pairing off and them doing interacting while the other pairing just watch on and wait for their turn. Another real good Justin moment is when Awesome and Tanaka exchange brutal chair shots Credible wants the easy pin, but when he gets two he again backs off and runs. Really getting up this Tanaka/Credible angle, the match breaks down. Tanaka again gets put through a table over the top with the Awesome Bomb, Lynn reverses a Credible tombstone into one of his own for the win. ***

Shane says he’s so excited……excited to see Bam Bam get his hands on Taz again, tonight Bam has told them he is going to put Taz through the god damn concrete floor. Francine announces her boobjob cost 6 grand before allowing Styles to motorboat those bad boys.

Justin Credible (w/Jason, Nicole Bass, and Chastity) vs. Jerry Lynn
Styles say whoever wins this match wins the feud; oh thank god it’s over after this. After what has to be 10 matches this is the best so far, everything is crisp and clean, fast paced with great reversals. Lynn controls the pace in the early going with Credible not over bumping, but finally trying to be him instead or HBK adjace, out of desperation Credible hits an inverted DDT to turn the tide into his favour. That allows Styles to takes the time to shit on "know it all wrestling fans and journalists" saying Credible didn't deserve the publicity ECW gave him Justin’s offense isn’t really good, he doesn’t target a body part instead he just does moves and gets help from his Entourage just because that’s what heels do I guess. They do another, really solid exchange of counter with both men knowing what the other wants to do so it takes a new move being added to turn the tide, Lynn’s comeback is alright but he’s just so robotic and meh like. Lynn hits a DDT on a chair but only gets two, when Chastity puts his foot on the ropes. Lynn then follows up with a ‘rana off the top rope through a table onto the floor. Lynn finally takes out the entire entourage, but Credible hits a Super Tombstone to win. ***
Lance Storm vs. Chris Candido (w/Tammy Lynn Sytch)
Candido still has the head gear on covering his ear, he then does the most awesome thing ever as he does the Rick Steiner run around taunt, and begins barking. So this is really good, it’s a technicians grudge match, so it’s not eye pokes, rakes, brawling and floor. They do moves and holds but it looks extra rough, and more hard hitting if that makes sense. They also try to embarrass the other whenever possible; Storm new aggressive dick persona shines. He slaps Candido’s injured ear then rips off the protective headgear. He has tunnel vision which ultimately backfires and Candido takes over. Tammy gets involved, whenever she feels the momentum swing allowing Candido to cheap shot him or hit a desperation move. Really good back and forth, constant action. Storm suplexs Candido from the ring to the floor with a sickening thud onto the concrete, he follows up with a sweet plancha into the crowd. The finish is really good two, just like the Lynn/Credible match they know one another moves and mannerisms so it takes something new to connect. Some real good highspots in the closing moments, Tammy hands Candido someCOKE powder, but Strom smacks it back into Candido face. He’s blinded and accidently takes out the ref, Storm heads up but Tammy begins feeling up Lance’s ass before shoving him dick first onto the top turn buckle. Tammy and the ref get into a shoving match, Candido is blinded and thinks it’s Storm still so as the ref has a hold of Tammy’s top Candido school boys the ref and he rips her dress HER TITS ARE SIMI-EXPOSED! Security comes down to cover, as Candido has his eye sight back. He climbs to top and hits Lance with a super blonde bombshell off the top for the win. ***
Joey Styles cuts to footage of earlier tonight; New Jack is in the parking lots with the fans. He says Jack Victory is gonna get his tore up and kicked. Victory comes over and they begins yelling at one another……….SUDDENLY Buh Buh and D-Von attack him from behind, Big Dick also came out, and Balls and Axl came over to save and it's a big gigantic pull apart. Joey says New Jack vs. Jack Victory will now not take place due to New Jack's injuries.
Backstage: Bill Alfonzo, Rob Van Dam and SABU who is wearing sunglasses indoor with the turban over it cut a promo. Fonzie says it doesn’t matter what the Japs names are. It’s all about SABU and RVD, RVD says to relax. They're here because Mr. Monday Night brought them to the top and Sabu helped him too. He says they're here to win and Fonzie yells some more about how they're losing. RVD says he's gonna be 6-0 on PPV, since they really know who won last time, because Rob Van Dam is the WHOLE FUCKIN’ SHOW!
Mike Awesome vs. Masato Tanaka
I love that I’m getting this matchup in 1998, this is the usual, but now it’s given more time and is not clipped and chopped for TV, everything is so hard hitting and vicious, like a simple awesome flying elbow over the top looks like two range rovers colliding. Then, like a minute later Awesome hits his leaping no hands plancha over the top and as he connects he goes head first into the concrete on the landing. Tanaka refuses to stay down or show he’s hurt, so he brings the violence too. Tanaka again does the running chair shot, from the start of the ramp to the ring nailing Awesome in the head with a chair. Both men grab chairs and have a chair-off or chair duel? I don’t know the correct term for it, it’s won by Tanaka who then follows up with a stiff chair shot to the back. HOLY SHIT! Awesome springboards to the top and hits a plancha onto Tanaka who was in the crowd They did kinda cheat as the moved the rails like a foot away from the ring, but still. AWESOME! Mike then hits an awesome bomb for two and a big splash off the top for another two. Mike then caves in Tanaka’s head with more chair shots for two. Awesome signals for another Awesome bomb to the floor, but Tanaka slips out and gets revenge by killing Awesome with one of his own to the floor. Tanaka rolls a dead Awesome back into the ring and covers but Mike kicks out HOLY SHIT! Tanaka hits the roaring elbow, but again Mike kicks out. Tanaka then hits the tornado DDT onto a stack of chairs for the win. FUCKIN’ AWESOME! I’m so psyched for these matches. *** - ***1/4
BEST HOUR OF ECW PPV EVER.
Taz is backstage, he says tonight the night. And in a short while he's gonna make Bam Bam tap to the only champion on PPV that means anything. Not Austin, Goldberg, or Tyson. TAZ! He says Bam Bam pinned him on PPV, but he's taking back that victory on PPV tonight, and he knows he's getting his ass kicked on the way to that win. He won't beat him again. BEAT HIM IF YOU CAN. The Dudleyz are in their locker room, Joel Gertner says the odds are stacked in their favour, after all New Jack isn’t here, neither is Beulah. ECW Tag Team Championships: Jinsei Shinzaki & Hayabusa vs. Rob Van Dam & Sabu (w/ Bill Alfonso)
So this, yeah. It didn’t click at all. It feels like this is all called in the ring, or the language barrier was just too much. There are a shit ton of mishaps and miscommunications throughout but there are some cool shit like Jinsei’s rope walk shoulder breaker. The first half of the match is very technical, face paced as they seem to cram all the different pairings. They are trying to make this, this big epic match but it’s just 4 guys doing stuff and some of the interactions went on way too long. Like Hayabusa/Sabu and Shinzaki/RVD pairing went on 3-4 minutes straight and felt like two singles being forced into a tag. Thankfully, after 10 minutes they bring da spotz and the crowd seem to get invested into the match. They fully abandon the tag formula and just go balls to the walls with double teams, and highspots which was really good. The pace and moves are just happening at rapid pace, no way I will be able to write down all the insane shit. So after 20 minutes RVD and Sabu hit a double legdrops though a table for the win. Yeah. I think if they just went straight into the crazy shit, I would have loved it but that first 10 killed me and the match. **3/4
ECW Death match/Falls Count Anywhere Match for the “FTW” Heavyweight Championship: Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Taz
Kinda shocking that this isn’t main eventing, but whatever. You know what else isn’t shocking that this is fuckin phenomenal. Taz no sells a powerbomb 20 seconds in, they then proceed to stiff the fuck out of one another and brawl around the building. Taz attempts a high crossbody but gets caught and Bam Bam rams him backfirst into the rails. They brawl into the crowd, HOLY SHIT! Bam Bam throws one of the steel rails into the head of Taz’ HOLY SHIT! Taz didn’t even have enough time to raise his hands to stop the blowing hitting him clean, JESUS! Taz Taxplex’s Bam Bam on the concrete for two, he then tries to lock on an armbar but Bam BAM is still too strong. They eventually brawl back to ringside where Bam Bam hits him with a steel chair; Taz seems to be busted open around the eye area now. Styles says it was when they were coming over the rails Bam Bam kicked him. Bam Bam powerbombs him, but doesn’t go for the cover. He instead brings a table in. Bam Bam whips him headfirst into the table breaking it. He then sets the broken table into the other corner, but Taz counters and Tazplex’s Bam Bam through the broken table. They brawl onto the ramp, as Bam Bam goes for the T-Bon into the crowd for revenge, from Asbury Park………….BUT TAZ COUNTERS INTO A SWINGING DDT THROUGH THE RAMP!!!!!!! Both men are slow to get up, Bam Bam crawls out first. He slowly walks forward, BUT TAZ GETS UP OUT OF THE HOLE AND SIGNALS FOR DEATH. TAZ RUNS AND JUMPS ON HIS BACK LOCKING IN THE TAZMISSION AND BAM BAM TAPS! OR IS HE REACHING FOR THE ROPES? HOLY SHIT! After the match; Taz gets on the mic and points up at Shane on commentary, and says BEAT HIM IF YOU CAN, SURVIVE IF HE LETS YOU! Shane begins losing his shit and has a metal breakdown before leaving. ***1/2 - ***3/4

DudleyVille Street Fight: The Dudley Boyz (w/Joel Gertner, Sign Guy Dudley, Jeff Jones & Beulah McGillislutty) vs. Spike Dudley, Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman
So they go into a traditional style tag match to start, okay. Not the way I would have started considering how long this feud has being going on and the same hardcore matches we’ve gotten like on every other show. We do get D-Von/Dreamer, BuhBuh/Spike and BigDick/Sandman pairings before the match breaks down. Yeah this is just a blend of all the matches from this 6 pairing from the previous 2 months. The match eventually breaks down and It also ends way before it should, as they never really reach a peak of insanity like the other ones. Tommy hits Buh Buh with a spike DDT onto the ladder for the win. After the match; Tommy is celebrating getting his revenge kinda, I guess. Until Jack Victory runs out and breaks the guitar on his head. The heels beat up on everyone, until NEW JACK MAKES THE SAVE! Sandman, New Jack, and Tommy climb up the three ladders and pose while Spike stomps around the ring to end the show. **

Joey Styles welcomes us to the show, he also dressed like someone out of mad men. He says the big news coming out is TAZ is still the FTW champion, we then gets still images of BamBam/Taz.
Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido are somewhere in the back, Bam Bam says he never tapped. He says he may have had it locked in; you will have to choke me out. Because I will never tap. I WILL NEVER QUIT! He promises to kick Taz’ ass for taking his trophy, but he's gonna get it back. Taz is going down.
Taz says there’s probably nothing more pathetic than seeing a grown man whine and cry, brotha. Come on. You know you tapped. You were the better man at Living Dangerously, I didn’t cry when you tapped. I took it on the chin, but not you. I guess I’m bigger than you. Shane Douglas, you’re up there doing color, which I think you’re very good at, I think that’s really where your future is because your career is probably done. Brotha, you are damaged goods. The show opens with Candido and Lance in the ring with Lance on the mic, he says earlier today ECW got a letter, this letter had nothing to do with a phone call I placed after Heat Wave. This letter states due to her “contractual disputes” with the WWF, she’s bared from ring-side. She is however not bared from my hotel room. Candido then attacks Storm and the match is on. They then air a clipped version of Candido/Storm II, Storm cheats a ton he low blows Candido with he mic and hits a superplex for the win.
Backstage: Lance Storm says people tell him he should apologize, and says because of a phone call he made, people were robbed of seeing Sunny in a low cut dress tonight. He says; more importantly, Chris Candido was robbed of the win Sunny was going to interfere and give him. He says Candido is on his own because of him, and Lance Storm apologizes for nothing.
Joey Style says Lance Strom duped everyone, he had was an envelope with a WWF logo on it, and he fooled all of them, but Sunny is free of her commitments.
Taz and Sabu are in the ring, after the introductions and the bell rings they begin brawling we then cut to Taz having Sabu in a half Boston crab, and Bam Bam attacking him from behind. We then cut to all 3 in the ring, and the crowd chanting 3-way-dance. Ring announcer makes it official.
Every long clipped version of TAZ/BamBam/Sabu airs; we get shown about 15 minutes. This went to a 30-minute draw. It looked pretty great, constant action, hoping one day to watch this in full.
ECW Television Championship: Jerry Lynn vs. Rob Van Dam (w/Bill Alfonso)
Hey, No. Already? Unlike being excited for Awesome/Tanaka, I’m 180 on this. This is joint in progress, but maybe like a minute in. This is what it is, Lynn apparently has this new confidence since the Credible feud and is “ready” for this so he takes the fight to RVD who is overly confident, RVD his thrown off his game and stalls a bunch of times, I give them credit all the moves are crisp and are hit perfectly. But they don’t lead to anything, it’s just cool spot, cool spot, cool spot, cool spot, cool spot reversal/counter then I’ll do some cool shit. RVD’s nose gets destroyed off a legdrop, they go back and forth for like 10 more minutes until RVD does the chair sidekick to Lynn on the top rope for the win. **1/2 - **3/4
Joel Gertner says RVD glory train is coming to an end, when he faces the Dudleyz.

Shane Douglas comes out dressed like Stone Cold Steve Austin adjace in his jean shorts, leather vest and vest. Oh he also has Francine with him. Douglas says, he was trying to get head from Francine but the matches have been so good tonight he hasn’t had the time He yells Bam Bam never tapped, he was reaching for the god damn rope. He says we just say Bam Bam master both Taz and Sabu for 30 minutes. The fact that he’s in the triple threat, and did that proves he is a better champion than Van Dam. He says RVD and Sabu have been collecting a bit too much gold, and the Triple Threat has a fucking problem with that, so it's time to go back to the way things are supposed to be. Joel Gertner comes out. He says he's sorry to interrupt, and says earlier, Rob Van Dam took a heck of a beating from Jerry Lynn, and really earned that win. Sabu wrestled for 30 minutes, he was beaten up by two very tough men, and is in terrible shape. He asks Shane if it's so much that he wants the titles in his camp or if he'd be happy with the Tag Titles just being away from RVD and Sabu. Shane says as long as it's not Rob Van Dam and Sabu, he doesn't care, and Joel says here's a little known fact. The Dudleyz have hidden a shot at the ECW Tag Team Titles, and if he may be so bold, THEY'D LIKE TO EXERCISE THAT OPTION TONIGHT! RVD and Fonzie come out, Douglas and Francine bails, and RVD does his best Joel “WELL, WELL, WELL” impression. He says he just fought Jerry Lynn everywhere, and Sabu got carried out after 3 hours of fighting. He says he's not JUST the TV Champion, he's not JUST the Tag Team Champion, and he’s Rob Van Dam, the whole fucking show. The Dudleyz come out, Buh Buh says his name is Bubba-Ray Dudley, and he doesn't care who he wrestled tonight, because they're gonna get a title shot. He says he can't beat them both up, and by the looks of him, he probably couldn't take Sign Guy. They turn around to taunt the crowd, SO RVD HITS SIGN GUY WITH THE TAG TITLES! FONZIE THROWS BIG DICK A CHAIR AND RVD HITS THE VAN DAMINATOR! RVD and Fonzie bail.
Justin Credible (w/ Jason, Nicole Bass, & Chastity) vs. The Sandman
So this is like 3 minutes, Sandman entrance is double the length of the match which is great. Chastity gets involved like 45 seconds in to because Justin is trash; I think Justin knows he’s getting a big push so he’s just all punches as offense now, he’s not even trying to justify it by overly bumping. Sandman goes to piledriver Bass but Jason kicks him in the face, Credible then hits that’s incredible for the win. Terrible, absolutely terrible. After the match; Justin and his shitty entourage beat up on Sandman, They tie Sandman into the ropes, and Credible canes Sandman. DAT PUSH!
Backstage: The Sandman says Credible just beat him in his home court, and Justin just lit a fire under his ass. But his problem now is putting it out.
Backstage: Justin Credible is with the shit entourage, Credible says does it bother you that Sandman from Philly just got beat by a punk kid from New York; also does it bother you that I beat him without help from anybody? Does it bother you that I beat you to half an inch of your life? He then challenges Sandman to a cane match, in Philly.
August 29th, 1998 FABS 7th birthday; ECW returns to the ECW arena.
ECW Tag Team Championships: The Dudley Boyz (w/Joel Gertner) vs. Rob Van Dam (w/Bill Alfonso)
Some little things during the intro make me love RVD and the Dudleyz more, like Buh Buh bullies the ring announcer because he’s shit and gets Joel Gertner to do it, Fonzie then intro’s RVD, Buh Buh plays out like he has no idea what the fuck Fonize is saying. RVD keeps looking over his shoulder encase the Dudleyz attack him from behind. D-Von then gives RVD the middle fingers, just because. So this is a ton of fun, this starts off as a basic 1-1 match, we get D-Von/RVD to start with is good, but Buh Buh has seen enough and interjects. RVD is great; he bumps sells and takes a hell of a beating, but he also has these awesome brief flurries of offense. RVD’s nose bleeds again, they would occasionally attack it in-between moves. At one point, RVD eye gets split open. They hit RVD with a 3D but Sabu runs down to make the save, he nails the Dudleyz with chair shots and Fonzie brings in a table. Sabu places them on, as Sabu hits the double leg drop taking them out. The Triple Threat run out and attack Sabu, they put RVD and Sabu on the table but Taz runs down, he shoves Candido off the top as Taz stalks Douglas but Buh Buh attacks him. Everyone brawls until RVD, Sabu and TAZ are left alone. Fonzie holds Sabu back from Taz, and then talks to both sides. The crowd chant “NEW TRIPLE THREAT” Fonzie throws up the 3 fingers. **1/2
