The show opens with Paul Heyman in the ring, he says 11 months ago they told us you can air the PPV in Idaho, LA, Philly…….Well, that gets a Philly sucks dick chant. Heyman says well that’s when the emails, phone calls, faxes happen and Time Warner called him and said “WHAT THE FUCK?!?!” we will air ECW on PPV. He says the revolution still needs to be fought, and people still tried to fight it. Claiming it’s too violent and too sexual. So what did we do we wrote as a family and we stood up for our first amendment rights, and we did something WWF fans are not loyal enough to do, and we did something the WCW fans don’t care about doing. AND TONIGHT! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WE CLEARED CABLE VISION!!!!

Joey Styles welcomes us to the show, he hypes WrestlePalooza and brings out Shane Douglas with Francine. Joey makes a joke about this match being the “night of the living head” Shane gets pissed and almost hits him, so Francine pulls him off and he almost hits her. That brings out Candido and Bam Bam who has to physically wrestle him down and drag him to the back.

Danny Doring & Roadkill (w/Lance Wright) vs. Axl Rotten & Balls Maloney
This is pretty shit; it’s basically a squash match and not a good one. Axl/Balls with chair shots to the head.

Full Blooded Italians (w/Tommy Rich) vs. 2 Cold Scorpio & The Sandman
This happens, it’s pretty shit too. They get about 5 to 6 minutes and I was kinda hoping for a comedy dance moves match, cause that’s what the FBI have been doing the past 2 weeks. And Sandman/Scorpio’s tag gimmick is dance. But instead, we got them cramming as much a shit as possible and take this as serious as possible. Nobody wants to see fuckin’ Sandman try to be sober and wrestle a straight match, fuckin’ waste of time. Sandman uses the cane for the win. Meh!

Justin Credible (w/Jason, Chastity & Nicole Bass) vs. Tommy Dreamer (w/Beulah McGillicutty)
WHEN THE FUCK DID Chastity join this fuckery lmao Finally this one has some hatred and passion of hate, Credible doesn’ even wait for Dreamer to get into the ring before attack him, they brawl all over ring side and Credible does his Credible bumping, that the only reason I have 2% no problem with him getting this mega push as he bumps and sells for everyone. Jason tries to get involved but ends up getting dropkicked in the face with a chair. That allows Credible time to recover and go on the offensive on Dreamer, the match becomes a bore now as Credible just now does moves for the sake of them he doesn’t target a body part or even try to win the match. Then Tommy starts doing it too, Dreamer hits the Spicolli driver AKA DVD but Jason pulls the ref out and Bass rakes his eyes. Justin hits the That’s incredible, and he brings Beulah in. He goes for one on her again but she fights out and low blows him. Catfight, but JASON MURDERS BEULAH WITH An LARIAT! Mikey then comes down and hits stunners on everyone, as Dreamer hits the DDT and pins Credible for the win. After the match; Nicole Bass makes out with Dreamer, DREAMER FINALLY TAKES AN L WITH A WOMAN lmao Dreamer is disgusted and goes to piledriver her but Credible attacks him with a chair. Bass then hold Beulah and forces her to watch Credible try to break Tommy’ leg and hits that’s incredible to Mikey on a chair. **

Clipped footage airs of the Triple Threat taking on Jerry Lynn, Chris Chetti & Lance Storm

After the match; Shane Douglas gets on the mic ad again says he is the reason the fans come to ECW and is the reason ECW is here. He says if you think the guy that has made a career of fuckin with other people heads HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WHEN WAT? TELL ME ONE FUCKIN’ TIME YOU GOT IN SOMEONE HEAD OR THAT WAS PART OF YOUR GIMMICK? YOU ARE SO SHIT! FUCK SAKE! He says the Styrofoam heads are not fuckin’ with his head. He then loses his shit, and the fans begin throwing the heads into the ring and he tries to rip one of the heads eye holes out. Al Snow then runs down and they fight, terrible feud, terrible angle. Everything is terrible. Why is this a PPV main event, could have done this on one of those shitty B shows and aired it on Hardcore TV. Now I have to watch “MAIN EVENT” Shane attempt a crazy man gimmick, and then watch him wrestle for 30 minutes because he thinks he’s good.

He says Triple Threat isn't so smart because he's the real genius, and says RVD is going to soften up Bigelow so Sabu can bring the gold home at Wrestlepalooza. RVD says he’s gonna kick Bam Bam’s ass, because he’s done it before and says what's Sabu's is his, and what's his is his because we are a team, we’re split it down the middle, 70/30 or 60/40. He's gonna scar him for life, no offense, Sabu. He asks for another take and says he's going to knock out Bam Bam's teeth -- no offense, Fonzie RVD has he’s gonna knock Bam Bam’s head off.

So it’s suppose to be the FBI/Roadkill and Danny, but first Danny cuts this awful comedy heel style promo that doesn’t work, it’s just awful. So the crowd shits on them all by saying “You All Suck Dick” Axl and Balls come out to make it a three way dance. Oh thank fuck this match gets clipped down to 3 to 4 minutes. Balls and Axl win.

Lance Storm and Chris Candido come out to Lance’s music, once they enter the ring, Candido demands his music be played and he comes out to his own song having 2 entrances

A clip job airs of Candido/Storm vs. Lynn/Chetti for the tag titles match.

Balls and Axl come out, Axl says they're not Canadian scabs from up north or sissies who a girlfriend that care about their partners more than them, and Candido gets mad. He runs into a chair shot from Axl, and Axl says that shut him up. They move in on Lance, but he attacks them both until Balls lays him out with a chair shot. Shane Douglas and Bam Bam come out to save, but they get beaten up. They threaten Francine too, but Shane kicks Balls in the dick. Axl hits Shane with the chair, but Bam Bam kills him with Greetings from Asbury Park. He then hits one on Balls too. Shane and Candido get up, and Candido covers them both before Francine counts to three.

Sandman makes his way down to the ring.

Clips air from Queens, where Taz came out through the crowd to confront Bigelow, but Bigelow bails out of the ring. El Puerto Ricano who was Bam Bam opponent raises Taz hand and says he wants a hug baby Taz laughs, hugs him then murders him.

Back to tonight, Sandman, Bam Bam and now Taz is in the ring. Taz says h e says he's waited three weeks to get him face to face, and says people make excuses for him. He's twice Taz's size, the ring broke, he had home field advantage, the ref missed a tap out, but it's simple. On March 1st, he was the better man, and he pinned him. But now instead of getting up to run at 7 am, he's getting up at 6. Instead of stopping training at 11 at night, he stops at 1 am. Taz shakes his hand and says it's just a matter of time before this happens again, and he gets his belt back. He then shakes Sandman’s hand too RESPECT!

CLIP JOB OF SANDMAN/BAM BAM FOR TWO FUCKIN’ MINUTES C’MON! AND THE MATCH LOOKED AWESOME TOO

Clipjob air of a RVD/Snow match; Sabu comes out and Snow throws the chair back at RVD to avoid the Van Daminator, and ducks Sabu trying a kick off the top, and Sabu kicks RVD that allows Snow to covers for the win. After the match; Sabu and RVD argue as refs, officials come out. Fonzie keeps the peace though. RVD offers a high five, but takes his hand down when Sabu goes for it. RVD walks out and Sabu tries to dive on him, but Fonzie stops him behind RVD's back.

D-Von apparently weighs in 132 lbs This is another clip job match between Bubba and Spike, GOD DAMMIT! It’s looked great tho, Spike gets the shit kicked out of him but shows a ton of heart. Both men bump around, and shit. It becomes a 3-1 beating down so Kronus comes out and he too shit so the Dudleyz take him out too, they do the New Jack taunt and he comes out to even the odds. Sign Guy has a sign that says New Jack dropped the soap in prison It becomes a huge brawl and Spike hits Bubba with the Acid Drop through a table to win.

Backstage: Rob Van Dan, Sabu and Bill Alfonso are cut a promo, RVD says it's that time again where they put RVD's face on a camera so the ratings will go up. RVD says everyone's talking about he and Bam Bam Bigelow, and says there's all kinds of hype. Fonzie says he's real excited about that and at May 3rd, Sabu is so ready for Bam Bam that he's going to take him out in 6 minutes and 40 seconds. RVD says when Sabu wins, he gonna have a lot of pride with that. We/I’m gonna defend it like it’s own. If it was me that won the title, I’d let you tell your friends that it belonged to you too after all, there is a chance I could win. I mean, all I got to do is beat Bam Bam. Fonzie says RVD is gonna soften him up, RVD says most people predict Bam Bam will go down, which is surprising. Not because of the prediction, because it's the truth, but because most fans are absolute morons. He says RVD could be kicking his teeth down his throat, no offense Fonzie. Not that the teeth less people are freaks, no offense, Sabu. My very best friend is a freak. Give me a high five (Sabu goes to do it, but RVD pulls his hand away and says it’s all about timing) RVD’s time is now.

Nova says they’ve done nothing in 2 years, he says his life has sucked since Raven and Stevie left. Nova says they should drive their car off a cliff, but says at least they're injury free. He goes to high five Meanie and pokes him in the eyes though, and says at least he is. Meanie blindly knees him in the dick.

The FBI argues about who will win the TV Title and talk about the odds and start making bets.

Chris Candido says he's carried Lance on his back since day one and he's beaten everyone by himself. Shane Douglas says Lance isn't Triple Threat material, but Candido made him great just by association. He talks about all Bam Bam has taken for the last month and says he's been more successful than ever.

The Sandman says he doesn't care who has the TV Title, because he has his cane, his cigarette, and a case of beer in the car and that's all you need in life.

Shane Douglas cuts some bullshit shoot promo, this time he claims he’s being held back and has been a marked man since throwing down the NWA title HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! FUCK OFF

The show opens with Droz, Danny Doring and Roadkill beating on Kronus and Spike after a Ppike/Kronus win. Anyway, New Jack comes out for the save with a dustbin full of weapons and a vacuum cleaner. Safe to say Jack kills everyone and its fun.

Justin Credible (w/Jason and Chastity) vs. Mikey Whipwreck
Mikey comes out full of hate and its pretty great, he targets Justin’s knee and does revenge spots of his own, e.g. wrap the knee around the ringpost and smash it with a steel chair. Justin even in this ridiculous over push is doing some great bumping but in the process his leg selling is spotty. Out of desperation, Justin hits a scoop slam and has this really boring heat segment, it’s so bad that Jason has to get on the mic and force the crowd to chant “Mikey” because no one is buying Credible at all. Mikey bumps around and really does his best to make Justin look good, he’s pretty shit on his selling but kinda makes up for it in his comeback. He hits a top rope Whippersnapper, but Jason pulls the ref out and rakes his eyes lol. Whippersnapper to Jason, and one to Jeff Jones the ref who comes out. That allows Chastity to grab Mikey’s balls and Justin hits the That’s Incredible for the win. After the match; All 3 beat on Mikey until Dreamer makes the save. **3/4

ECW Television Championship: Rob Van Dam (w/Bill Alfonso) vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
So a little backstory on this match from me, this was the very first ECW match that I fell in love with. I never say it in 1998, I had to wait until 2003 for when WWE put out the RVD:One Of A Kind DVD. And on that night a young 12-year-old Fab watched this and it blew his mind, by then I knew of Bam Bam but wasn’t aware of his amazingness. And RVD I was a fan during the Invasion 2001 failed angle because RVD was different so I liked him a lot, then as the years went by he started growing stale, but this DVD came out and I was back on the wagon. This lead me to find more ECW matches online but I think I had some AOL bullshit at the time and it took forever to find matches, and that’s all I remember. Anyway I’ve probably seen this about 10 times, but haven’t seen it in about 10 to 9 years. Lets see if this holds up or like a lot of ECW things, all kinda meh.

Bam Bam still has his right eyebrow covered after the Sandman match, god dammit I really wanna find that match. This starts off great, Bam Bam is a beast that he can throw and do tremendous power moves to RVD and RVD sells it only like he can, even his facial expressions are great. RVD might be the only person to outperform Bam Bam in a match so far, he’s basically playing babyface here and shows a ton of heart. This is also one of the first times RVD is really kick heavy on offense and it works, because BamBam is so big he needs that length that the forearms won’t connect with. They do this awesome spot with RVD going for a head scissors into the crowd but Bam Bam catches his legs and frontflips him into the seated chairs. They brawl for a bit and RVD hits a springboard into the ‘rana sending Bam Bam into the floor, chairs and the fans. AND THIS IS WHEN IT HAPPENS RVD GOES BACK INTO THE RING AND TO THE TOP; HE HITS A CROSSBODY FROM THE TOP CLEARING THE RAILS INTO THE 3RD ROW HITTING BAM BAM! HE’ NOT FUCKIN DONE, HE AGAIN HEADS UP TOP AND HITS A GOD DAMN FLIPPING SENTON INTO LIKE THE 3RD OR 4TH ROW WHIPPING OUT BAM BAM. I remember in the “Rise and Fall DVD, or Maybe it was the RVD DVD” that Heyman said after those two dives RVD instantly became a babyface and was set for life as a crowd favorite in ECW, it’s so true. Bam Bam is slowly climbing over the rails, and RVD catches him with a guillotine leg drop smashing Bam Bam’s face onto the rails. And even with all that beating Bam Bam isn’t fully worn down, he powerbombs RVD on the timekeepers table but it doesn’t break so he climbs onto the apron and delivers an elbow drop breaking the table. I think a piece of the table hit Bam Bam in the eye because it’s cut open again, or it happen when out of desperation as both men try to get up RVD hits him with a piece of the broken table. Anyway, just like a shark smells blood RVD targets it with boots right to the cut. Bam Bam comes back and hits him in the back with a chair, minutes later Bam Bam goes for a suplex back in but RVD kicks his legs out and that makes Bam Bam break the hold dropping him throat-first onto the top rope. Bam Bam goes for the moonsault but misses and RVD hits the 5-star-frog splash for two. “ROB VAN DAM” chant breaks out, and seeing how they are back in the ring, this benefits Bam Bam who gets a series of near falls, until Sabu comes out. They go for their version of the “Hardy” jump off the back leg lariat in the corner but Bam Bam catches Sabu and throws him into RVD, AWESOME! Bam Bam goes to powerbomb Sabu but Sabu goes into his boot and pulls out the spike, he stabs Bam Bam in the eye. He falls down, AND RVD HITS THE VAN DAMINATOR AND BIGELOW TRIPS OVER SABU ON THE MAT WHICH ALLOWS RVD TO JACKNIFE PIN HIM TO WIN! FUCK YEAH! THANK GOD THIS STILL HOLDS UP, MOTYC ****

Backstage: Shane Douglas says they can deal with this; it’s been a conspiracy from day one. Everyone is against the Triple Threat and at the PPV they will not give anyone a chance to say checkmate. The Triple Threat will not lay down and they will prove….WE WILL COME THROUGH THIS!

Axl has a Candido face mask on, he pretends to do Candido’s voice and promo before pulling it off. He says who is he kidding he knows he and Lance are scared to death of he and Balls. This isn’t Monday night this is ECW and at the PPV we will wrap those chairs around your heads.

Bill Alfonse yells that he told them that they were coming to Wrestlepalooza as the TV Champion, and they'll fight everyone. Hell we will even give Bam Bam a rematch, Heyman comes in and says he blew it. Sabu gets a TV Title shot at Wrestlepalooza, and that's it. SABU TRIES TO GRAB THE TITLE AND THEY START HAVING A TUG OF WAR OVER IT

Joel Gertner is in the ring, AND HE INTRODUCES COUSIN BUTCH DUDLEY, AND COUSIN LUKE DUDLEY! HOLY SHIT THE BUSHWHACKERS ARE IN ECW! AND ARE FROM DUDLEYVILLE! IT ALL MAKES SENSE! THEY HAVE TIE-DYE DUDLEY SHIRTS ON Sandman does the Bushwhackers arm taunt, suddenly Buh Buh and D-Von come running down from the entrance and attack them from behind. They hit Tommy with a 3D and absolutely murder Sandman with another right on his head and neck. Buh Buh gets the chair and D-Von gets the cane, and Buh Buh yells "ECW!" like Tommy, and they drop them with weapon shots. Sign Guy pours beer on them, fuck yeah. Scorpio runs out to try and save, but the numbers are too much and they beat him down. They then do the Dreamer/Sandman pose over all three.

EMT’s, Jerry Lynn and other wrestles come from the back to help Sandman, we cut to Joey Styles who shows clips of BamBam/RVD from last week.

RVD/Sabu promo from last week airs again.

Sandman’s wife is crying as Sandman is being loaded onto a stretcher and into the back of the ambulance.

ECW Tag Team Championships: Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney vs. Chris Candido & Lance Storm
Axl and Balls are in the ring, when all of a sudden they are attack by Lance Storm with a steel chair, and he’s not Lance’ing it up with the swing so the chair shots look legit. Nevermind he Lance’ed it up with a shot to the back of Axl, Candidio comes in to join in but Lance hits him in the chair. The bell rings and Axl covers right away which forces Lance to break up the pin. This is only like 3 minutes, so whatever. Balls is hurt from the chair, so Axl fights both Candido and Storm, who again have issues. Storm hits the Springboard Back Elbow, but Candido steals the cover to win. After the match; Candido hits Storm with the title belt and throws Lance to the floor.

Danny Doring and Roadkill come out and Doring tries to claim he's the new #1 Contender, but Axl and kill them with chairs, Axl says they haven’t got a damn thing. Candido then throws Lance into the guard rails and challenges him to a match……….right now.

Chris Candido vs. Lance Storm
This is much better because they get 5 minutes instead of 10 or whatever they got at the PPV or TV match prior. Candido is RVD adjacent, in the sense of its move, taunt, move, taunt, ect. He’s just not as good as RVD is now, maybe in early ’97 when RVD was still green but not now. As for the match, they beat the shit out of one another Lance really makes this great with the intensity and hate, while Candido does his usual. I like that they don’t do all their big stuff or go crazy, cause they gotta save it for the actual feud and the blowoff match whenever that is. Lance is able to get out of the Blond Bombshell , as Candido jumps off the top rope Lance catches him in a sit-down Bomb for the win. **

Slow motion of The Dudleyz breaking the Sandman’s neck, and him being put into the ambulance. What makes this great is they are showing this but in the background I assume the FBI and b.W.o are making their way to the ring so I can just hear their songs, while I have the visual of broken Sandman being loaded into the ambulance.

ECW Fan Cam: Triple Threat arrive at the building, Sahne is pissed when Candido comes running up to them. He tells them about all the stuff that he and Lance did tonight, before lying to them saying Lance said he’s gonna beat up Shane and Bam Bam Shane takes off the sling and they enter the building

It’s suppose to be Kronus vs. Chris Chetti, but the Triple Threat is in the ring, Bam Bam hits Kronus with Greets from Asbury Park, he then throws Kronus with one arm over the top through a table BAM BAM IS AMAZING! Shane tells Chetti just because he’s Taz cousin doesn’t mean he can walk out here and grace the ring with the Franchise. Shane the goes on his usual rants about being held down, working for Bill Watts BLAH! BLAH! BLAH! He says Chetti has had title shots, title shots he doesn’t deserve. WHEN? I’m no Chetti guy, but when the fuck has he been given title shots? I swear Shane is brain-damaged. Fuck it, Taz comes out. Shane asks him if he’s out here to try and break his arm again, Taz says he doesn’t care about his problems. And Chetti cuts him off so TAZ SLAPS HIM AND TAZPLEX HIM Taz says he doesn’t care about him, that bitch or family members. He challenges them all, and Shane says Taz doesn’t own ECW, the Triple Threat does. Shane challenges him to fight them all now, and Taz dares him to put his title up. Heyman is off screen trying to break it up, but Shane yells at him to cut it out, and Shane says Taz gets no title shot. Shane asks if he's mad that Al Snow jumped over his head, and he doesn’t deserve a title shot. He says Taz doesn't deserve a shot because Bigelow beat his big jabroni ass. Shane says he's got a challenge for him though, since he's a big shooter, and offers him his arm. He says to snap it right now if he wants to make a name for himself. The show opens with “Sexual Dynamo” Joel “I’m straight, you’re not” Gerner cuts a promo he says, it was only 3 years ago at Heatwave ’95, where Tommy Dreamer did battle against in a cage against the former WCW United States Heavyweight Champion of the United States Raven. He says Dreamer inflicted punishment and delivered what is known as the chair shot heard around the world, he says the Karma police have been in full force, by the names of Big Dick, Buh Buh and D-Von when they took out Dreamer and Sandman. Joey Styles is in the ring, he’s about to give a rundown of the PPV card when he is interrupted by Taz. Taz tells him to tell the truth, don’t bullshit the people. Tell him the real reason Shane Douglas isn’t here; TELL THEM SHANE DOUGLAS IS AT HOME WITH A FUCKED UP ELBOW, BECAUSE HE FUCKED WITH ME! Taz says he's been way, way too nice lately. He says Shane hit a nerve with him last week, and said he isn't getting a shot because he lost to Bigelow, and that's right. He says Bam Bam was the better man on that night, but Shane Douglas fears him because he is the uncrowned World Heavyweight Champion. He then hears Heyman say something, so Taz says you ain’t shutting my mic off, brotha, because I’m just gonna be another guy that leaves him and heads down to Atlanta or better yet go to Vince. Wait a minute, Hey Paul E’ Don’t stand there thinking you’re a badass, see these people think they’re getting some Austin/Vince angle lmao No they are not, this fuckin’ company HAHAHAHAHAHA! Taz says this is a shoot since he was 9 he’s been disciplined and where has that gotten him 2nd place I AM NOT SOME SECOND-RATE PRICK! NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! Taz begins to lose his shit and says he never left, but he stood here and put up with shit in ECW, and Joey asks what's with him, so Taz shoves him and leaves.

Highlights of the show in the ECW Arena show

Chris Candido (w/Francine) vs. Axl Rotten
This is what it is, Candido constantly gets the better but his showboating and taunting gets him in trouble, he’s also bumping like crazy for Axl he’s taking Curt Henning ’91 bumps and is making Axl look like Bret in SSlam, well. I’m over exaggerating it a little but fuck it. Francine keeps interfering because that’s what a manager does. The ref doesn’t care he lets everything fly. It’s a Candido match so he does moves, taunts so on. Axl isn’t a real good bumper or sell he just does things. Francine interferes for the 5th time and throws Candido a chain, but Axl ducks it. He hits a Lifting Reverse DDT and that Joey names the SST for the win. After the match; Axl goes after Francine, and Candido hits him with his own chair. Balls Mahoney runs out to save, but when he goes after Francine, Bam Bam Bigelow comes out. He hits him with the Greeting From Asbury Park. *1/2

Backstage: Bill Alfonse cuts a promo he says his phone has been ringing off the hook with people asking him what corner will he be in, RVD or Sabu’s? At the PPV Bill Alfonso will be in…………he flips a coin and it lands on…………………he doesn’t say and does the Sabu/RVD taunt.

Al Snow (w/Head) vs. Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso)
This match starts in progress as when we return Sabu already has a table in the ring, Snow puts Sabu on a table, but Sabu fights out and almost breaks his neck and Snow’s back with a ‘rana off the top. RVD comes out to check on him, he says he’s hurt so they should stop the match. RVD then leaves again. This is okay, it’s a Sabu match so he does his stuff not botchy but it has its sloppy moments, Al bumps for it well and does Al moves, this goes 10 minutes which is pretty awful. I’m just glad I didn’t get the full match from the start. Sabu again places the table in the corner but this time Snow counters, but RVD comes out to distract the ref, Snow is about to go for the Snowplough through the table but Fonzie clips the knee and both fall through the table. RVD THROWS IN THE TOWEL FOR SABU! wat. The ref somehow accepts that and Al Snow wins. After the match; Sabu and RVD shove at each other and the ring is showered with heads. **

Full Blooded Italians (w/Tommy Rich) vs. b.W.o (The Blue Meanie & Super Nova)
bWo have clearly lost all the momentum they had since 1997, once Stevie left it has been all downhill since then, the FBI on the other had are kinda on their way up, they’re super hated. As for the match, its pretty trash, they do some shit for like 3 minutes then have a dance off because why not? Referee John Finagin then goes into business for himself and starts body slamming the FBI for two counts WHAT! Nova has a surprisingly good dive, and then the FBI takes over and that's pretty much the peak of the match. They iso Nova, and hit some real simple but effective double teams, Meanie’s hot tag ruins everything tho and it’s all downhill from here. The bWo clean house and Nova hits Guido with Novacaine for the win. **

Justin Credible (w/Jason & Chastity) vs. Mikey Whipwreck
The normal stuff between these two, Credible bumps like HBK adjace in the early going. Mikey is super aggressive and is out for revenge and punishment but that backfires as he goes for a Russian legsweep off the apron into the rails but Credible counters and throws him backfirst into the rails. Credible’s heat is alright, he uses a chair to make every move a little bit more violent, e.g running dropkick with a chair, powerslam on a chair and powerbomb on the chair. Jason keeps interfering and the ref allows it, lol at one point Credible goes for a splash through the table on the floor but Mikey throws a chair but it barely touches him and hits a fan in the face instead Anyway, that allows Mikey to suplex him through the table to the concrete floor. Mikey kills Credible with a chair shot the same time as Credible has a chair up so he kinds takes two chairs to the face. Weird finish as Mikey has Credible beat but he sees Jason on the floor and just breaks up the pin, Styles tries to cover it up as Mikey saw Jason climbing in lol, oh and after Mikey stops the count Justin randomly kicks out when Mikey is not even covering him anymore Mikey hits a shitty looking Whippersnapper to both Jason and Justin, but Chasity gets into MIKEY GIVES HER A TOP ROPE WHIPPERSNAPPER! Justin then hits the That’s Incredible on the chair for the win. **1/2

Balls and Axl walk over to Joey Styles, Axl says he hates to ruin the party but they have something to talk about, he says they’re sick of Candido and Storm ducking them, he calls Candido a Pussy Whipped Little Sissy and says Storm may be one hell of an athlete but he doesn’t have what it takes. Axl says they are not waiting anymore and they are going to rip them a new ass RIGHT NOW!

ECW Tag Team Championship: Chris Candido & Lance Storm vs. Balls Mahoney & Axl Rotten
This isn’t good at all, it’s a clash of syles and it doesn’t mesh well at all. Hilariously, Balls and Axl out wrestle both Candido and Storm in the early going, then they beat them up, so for the first 5 minutes they just get outworked, Candido doesn’t even tag he just enters the ring and throws Lance out but the ref allows it The heels final make gain momentum after a Lance superkick, the crowd then being a “Free Ric Flair” chant Candido/Storm do the usual bicker and almost fight, but also wear down Axl. Balls hot tag is cool, Sunny comes out and Lance saved her from the Nutcracker Suite, but then Candido shoved him for checking on her. Lance hit a Springboard Missile Dropkick into a chair into Balls' face later on, but Candido steals the pin to retain. After the match; Candido and Storm fight. *3/4

Joey Styles then introduces Shane Douglas; I guess this is for ECW Hardcore TV? Shane comes out looking like shit, he has his arm in a cast and on top of that he has it in a steel brace, Shane says he has been in this sport for 16 years, and he started when wrestling was still wrestling and not "entertainment". He says he was there when he saw MEN wrestle with injury after injury, and he's seen punks on guaranteed money collect 6 months pay while at home with a stubbed toe. He says he was in the WWF and was suppose to face Shawn Michaels, but he had a little bump on his head, so he handed me a belt. He says that’s when he knew the WWF IC title meant shit in this sport. Right down the road is the CNN center, they have a guy that wrestles their named “DICK FLAIR” and he sucks Bischoff's ass He says he’s called his old ass out for 4 years, he says he has two fractured bones in his elbows and a broken cheek bone. He says this might be his last match, so he's going out tonight and putting on the match of a lifetime, and no matter what, he's going down as the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time. Taz then comes out, and says this company is trying to paint him as this hero because he’s hurt, well tell the people who busted him up. And the way he sees it he is the uncrowned ECW champion, Shane tells him to sit down and shut the fuck up. Taz says there ain’t gonna be no main event, just like that kid in WWF handed you that belt, I ain’t going anywhere until you hand that belt over to me. Taz says he’s here to ruin this PPV and to ruin him, Shane tells him to get the fuck out the way. Taz doesn’t so he locks in the Tazmission, but security breaks it up. BAM BAM ATTACKS TAZ ON THE FLOOR! FUCK YEAH! THEY HAVE A PULL APART BRAWL, Taz is led out of the building. The Triple Threat helps Shane in the ring as he’s spitting up blood. Weird segment. It felt like they were doing a Taz/Shane double turn until Shane went into her terrible shoot name drop promos.

In the parking lot; Taz is handcuffed and put in an "undercover cop car" He kicks out the window and window frame, and the car drives off. LOL FAKE AUSTIN ADJACE ANGLE

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. New Jack
FUCK YEAH! This was great; it’s a the best storytelling of the night and in a New Jack match too. Bam Bam beats the shit out him using his hands early, but once he tries to introduce weapons that Jack brought with him it backfires and Jack gains control of the match. He uses a shit load of weapons, taking the big man to the mat. Jack fucks up by trying to headbutt BamBam but Bam’s head is too hard so Jack is the one in pain, that allows BamBam to go on the offensive, he busts him open with a chair shot and hits a no hands plancha over the guardrails onto New Jack they brawl into the crowd and Jack hits a balcony dive with a guitar, but fucks himself up doing it, So Bam Bam brings him back to the ring and hits Greetings From Asbury Park for the win. After the match; Bam Bam picks up all the weapons and broken parts of weapons in the ring and throws them on top of Jacks broken body. ***1/4

The Dudleyz are already in the ring and Joel Gertner has the mic, he says before they bring out their opponents the extreme alcoholic and his partner, the man with more TNA than a Las Vegas strip review, allow me to introduce you to my beautiful self. The Quintessential Studmuffin, the object of your affection, the Innovator of Vocabulary, and a damn handsome man, Joel "The Ladies Call Me Fred Flinstone, because I Always Make That Bed Rock" Gertner! But he gets cut off by Sandman's music. Sandman is so banged up that he can’t spit beer or smash the beer can over his head without wincing in pain, Beulah looks white hot in this cocktail outfit, damn Dreamer won. He hen does the poured beer down Beulah’s top and licks it up.

The Dudley Boyz (Big Dick Dudley, Sign Guy Dudley & Joel Gertner) vs. Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman (w/Beulah McGillicutty)
This is the norm, kinda like the Mikey/Justin match you kinda know what to expect and they delivered exactly that. All 4 brawl on the floor, Drunk Sandman hits a legdrop on both Dudleyz who were hung up throat first on the rails, as Tommy had a chair placed on top of their heads. Sandman brings in one of the safety rails, Buh Buh whips Sandman into it and he further injuries his neck, so he gets taken to the back. It’s a 2-1 until LITTLE SPIKE DUDLEY TO EVEN THE ODDS Big Dick immediately interjects and makes this a 3-2 now, The Dudleyz maintain control and kill spike with a 3D, BUT THE SANDMAN RUNS BACK OUT WITH A NECKBRACE ON! HE CANES THE SHIT OUT OF THE DUDLEYZ! Tommy and Sandman get revenge with the stereo chair shots and follow up with stereo DDT’s for the win. The storytelling in this was better than the actual match, and with that finish, I guess this feud is over now, I think. **1/2

Backstage: Bill Alfonso with Sabu, he says the whole world wants to who just who Bill Alfonso will manage? Will it be Sabu? Or will it be RVD? He holds up the ECW TV title and says he will manage both and the way he sees it whoever wins he will still be leaving with the ECW title.

Jeff Jones is the ref for the match, oh the fuckery has begun. Oh and right on queue the ring announcer fucks up by saying this is for the ECW World Tag Team Championships lel

ECW Television Championship: Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso) vs. Rob Van Dam
Fonzie comes out with Sabu and stays in the corner of Sabu :hm: The slow build to this has been great, and I always enjoyed the idea of tag teams facing one another out of friendly competition, but Man this is bad, really bad. As much as these two have chemistry together just don’t click as opponents, e.g. Triple H/Orton, Austin/Taker, Kurt/Eddie, Cena/Orton (shoutouts to deezy for that one) etc. Oh, and they gave this 30 minutes, for fuck sake. Weird feeling out process, it most Sabu going for stuff but RVD ducks and avoids at all cost, RVD then gets on the mic and says he’s not gonna fight his partner, and they put together a plan. He raises both their hands but ref Jeff Jones is having none of it so RVD shoves him into the corner, it looks like Sabu is gonna do the springboard leg lariat but instead kicks RVD in the face Sabu is super aggressive, and I guess is playing the face by default but RVD is super over too, IDK even know who the heel/face would be both wrestles like faces, fuck it. They clearly have trouble filling 20 minutes, and it shows so with this extra 10 it’s a complete mess and a lot of this is filler, RVD targets the knee but abandons it as the match goes on, so Sabu just stops selling it. Kinda cool spot as Sabu places RVD on a table in-between the apron and rails, but as he goes for the double jump legdrop RVD rolls into the crowd, but Sabu catches himself right before the jump and dives on to RVD who is in the crowd. The abandon the wrestling match and just start doing their usual spots to one another to help with the time. More back and forth for 15 minutes JESUS! I get why this was booked, RVD is gonna be the ace someday, and Sabu is still one of your top guys and you don’t want either guy to take the L, and Heyman’s intelligence hasn’t figured out that you can do one fall in a 3-way matches so 30 minutes draw was the only out. But god dam, they botch the shit out of the double jump DDT through the table, the same move Sabu did to Rey at one night stand ’06, more botches and more moves before time expires. I’m exhausted watching it, legit felt like 3 hours. And now I’m forced to watch a fucking Shane match. After the match; the crowd wants five more minutes, Sabu grabs the belt and celebrates, but RVD grabs the title and bails from the ring and to the back. **

Backstage: Shane Douglas cuts another promo on all the injuries he has, and how doctors have told him not to go through with this match. He says Al has everything in his favor tonight but the problem is he’s going up against the Franchise.

Backstage: Al Snow says on May 2nd, 1982 that’s when all this began, 16 years he has dedicated his life to get to this time, his time. He talks about for 16 years they both have been up and down the roads and have both been held down by promotions. He says tonight is his night, and he knows what everyone will say when he wins tonight, oh it was because of injuries but he beat him at the last PPV and he will do it again, and he doesn’t care what people say.

ECW World Heavyweight Championship: Shane Douglas (w/Francine) vs. Al Snow (w/Head)
Alright so, Shane sucks so bad in the ring when healthy, so a one armed Shane is even worse. Shane banged up and is hurt bad, right? I’m they’ve been hyping up how he needs surgery and this could be the end. So what do they do give him 20 minutes So the “Heel” Shane decides to wrestle without the steel black brace. What a heel, not using a legal weapon. Just to show you are a tough guy, JESUS! CHRIST 10 SECONDS IN AND THEY HAVING A FUCKIN’ CHOP OFF WITH SHANE USING THE INJURED ARM AND SHOWING NO EFFECTS OF IT BEING INJURED! Well, Snow sees him using the arm, and decides to work on it. Oh great, this is average af. Lots of shitty punches thrown, Al Snow sort of works the arm, but it goes nowhere, Francine interferences all that stuff. This again has trouble filling time as Snow sucks, Shane sucks and is handicapped with the arm I guess. It all filler until the Triple Threat get involved but that backfires and Snow even kicks out of the belly-to-belly. OH FOR FUCK SAKE THE ECW LOCKER ROOM EMPTIES AND WRESTLERS COME OUT AND SURROUND THE RING TO WATCH, OH MY GOD, STOP TRYING TO MAKE THIS A THING, I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND DOING IT WITH FUNK, BUT FUCKIN’ AL SNOW/DOUGLAS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Shane kicks out of the Snowplough, Francine gets one too. Snow then heads up top but he fucks up a sunset flip and Shane falls on top for the pin lmao After the match; Heads are thrown. The roster gets in the ring to help him up and they lift both Shane and Snow up on their shoulders. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAA! So Shane is now a face? I DON’T GET IT NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE, I HATE EVERYTHING! *1/2
