  • Sid Vicious beat Kevin Nash to win the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Title (this would be overruled literal days later on Thunder because Sid allegedly pinned the wrong Harris brother. WCW was stupid in 2000. This wasn't even Russo)
So many questions

Just look at the WCW title history from Bret winning, every other champion is "vacant" for a good few months

Like for example, the title was only vacant bc Chris Benoit won the also vacant title prior but left for the WWF that night so they did a thing where his win was reversed and title was vacant again

I think it was a handicap cage match and either only one Harris was involved or the cage match had legal participants and tags and the wrong one was pinned lmao

It was Sid vs. Don. Ron interfered. According to Nash, in the confusion Sid pinned Ron and not Don. On Thunder Nash gave the title to himself. He then gave a chance for Sid to win it back with a handicap cage match against himself and the Harris Brother he didn't beat... and yet Ron was in that match. Make it make sense

You can really see SmackDown starting to fall off a cliff, losing Benoit and Brock early 2004 was essentially unrecoverable
